This review has been long coming. This place was always the go to for a quick meal, fresh and accurate. However, over the past 3 or 4 months, the delivery has been atrocious. Previously your orders were perfect 9 out of 10 times but now, the orders arrive wrong 9 out of 10 times. Yesterday, at 3/8/2026 8:30pm we ordered 5 meals. 4 of 5 were incorrect. Items missing, pita bread never makes it and it is frustrating because you want a meal a certain way and it does not arrive that way. The quality control is lacking and whoever you have handling evening orders needs to be retrained or helped. We have decided to no longer order from here. It’s been too frustrating and disappointing. The fall has been hard. It is a shame that something slipped abs based on some of the other reviews, it might be the help. Below are a couple examples of meals missing items. I ordered the deluxe and got no tomatoes at all. My wife ordered and was missing the cheese and plantains. Pita is always missing.

Despite your signs not being accurate and up-charging each bowl by a dollar (sneaky sneaky), you charge for small additions like cheese, wilted lettuce, and tomatoes. But let’s get into the real reason I’ll never come back. The exceptionally rude woman who didn’t even give me what came with my bowl.
Didn’t ask me the type of rice I wanted just shoved something I don’t even eat. Next, she was rude when I (who already told her I was a first time customer) LAUGHED out loud when I asked if the guac was extra. She’s like everything’s extra (even though it CAME WITH MY BOWL I LATER SAW). If that’s how you feel and you’re not clear to begin with, then why work there? As I stood there, she gave me dirty looks and treated me like a second class citizen.
I had only been respectful with her and she even tried to argue with me. Almost reeked of prejudice and like she’s looking to take her pent up aggression out on someone. Like good lord, she should not work in this industry.
She didn’t give me the things that came with my bowl, had to ask, got an attitude (like OMG she’s not even kind after you’ve paid the bill) and made me feel throughout like I was burden. If you’re reading this and want to save your business (because clearly any business charging extra for wilted lettuce and a dash of cut tomatoes is), then she needs to stop working there. I went in to order my food and the lady coughed in her hand right over the prep area then proceeded to grab the bowl and make the food. I told her I wasn’t trying to be rude and told her she just coughed in her hands and started making the food. She looked at me like I was crazy and I found that to be extremely gross. I’ve be been complete for years and this interaction has changed that. If they can do that in front of the customer imagine what they do when we can’t see.

Hubby was in the hospital, needed something healthy for him to eat and it was 20 minutes before closing. They treated me kind even though it was so close to closing. Sometimes you need kindness in a serious time which helps make your day better.

The woman was super nice letting us know the chicken was cooking and right when she was about to take care of us a guy comes from the kitchen wipes his hands with no gloves all over his pants and starts touching the food. That’s disgusting I left immediately I said no thanks and left. I don’t understand why he thought that was appropriate in the restaurant industry.

ive been coming to this chicken kitchen for the last 20 years. within the last 5 years this place have fallen off a cliff. the price going up is normal, but the amount they skimp you on the rice and chicken has gotten ridiculous. half the time they dont have pita which is supposed to come with every bowl and now they try to charge you for skin which is new. When the guy finished making my bowl, I looked him dead in the eye and aksed “wheres the chicken?” he said “thats it”. $10 for a meal that barely filled up half the bowl. I came back here after a year to see if they were at least better than a newer ck that opened up near me. Unfortunately they were worse. The new one might skimp me just as much, but at least they dont charge me for skin. This place went from a spot i went to for 20 years, to a place i avoid at all costs. Save your time an money and just go to Pollo tropical down the street.

You’re basically paying for a bowl of rice with 6 small bites of chicken. The person who I suppose is the manager, the lady was wearing a black collared shirt and glasses, she was packing my to go order as I walked in.. my first impression was that she had a horrible look on her face like she hated her life. I told her I think that’s my order and she just stared at me and pushed it towards me in a really rough way. If she is the manager they definitely need to coach her or hire someone with a better attitude. I asked for a cup of water she kept her head down completely ignored me and I had to ask someone else. Then I asked her hey why is there almost no chicken in here I always get chicken kitchen and it’s never been such a small portion. She shrugged her shoulders and said that’s the amount in a rude tone. Then she turned her back to continue talking to her coworkers and she made a comment about what I said and they all started laughing. Horrible experience. The manager needs to learn to stop being so entitled. This location needs a corporate visit ASAP. And if she isn’t the manager, there’s no reason why there should be so many people working with no supervisor and no customers.
