The service was okay the servers were great. They forgot a few items and also got a few things wrong. But it was corrected… took and an extra 15 mins after the order was done…. Unfortunately everything was nasty. I love food and even the fries were bad. We ordered the gizzards the breader was thick and salty… the pork chops as well… the sides were bland. I took a few pictures it’s two more plates that were trashed. The pork chops were salty one bite burns your tongue. $100 wasted

Stopped in today and was helped by Madison. The food was great and the service was even better. I’ve had the fried and grilled chicken filled sandwich from the menu, and they are both one of the best I’ve had. I do recommend.

I did take out here. Gloria took my order. She was very pleasant. The fish sandwich here is ok. I think it need to be cooked a little bit longer and it would’ve made the sandwich better. My fish sandwich was a flounder fish with slaw and tartar sauce on the side. I think I paid about eight dollars for just a fish sandwich.Including tip

Please read this. I want to say something about what happened this evening. My husband and I went to Chicken King in Mt Holly for dinner. When we got there, it was empty, no customers. Granted, we haven’t been there in a long time, but I wondered where everyone was. They have always been busy when we went there before. Anyway, we ordered and the food was good and hot. The service was great.
However, after a little while, a man who I assume was the manager came in, went back to the grill area (which has a large opening to the dining area) and proceeded to start yelling and cussing at one of the employees. Very loudly. It was disgusting ! There were several other customers in the dining area by that time. I got a box for my food and we left. Mister, whoever you are, that was very unprofessional and disturbing. If that’s how you act all the time, it’s no wonder there were no customers.

The food here is normally always good, my favorite sandwich they have is the BLT, then it 2nd place is the chicken sandwich. They ladies that arr behind the counter are always nice.

A chicken joint. Excellent chicken. Meat and three is delicious. Many sides each day. Dessert selection is good. Unsweetened tea had a bit if an old taste to it. Understandable as it is brewed in urns and use depends on how many order it. Usually greatly less than those ordering sweet tea. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great place to eat some really good chicken. I recommend the wing box with onion rings and fried okra. Enough food for two people for around 8 bucks. Workers here are always friendly and helpful. They also have really good ranch dressing. Parking is easy and they keep the place clean. Chicken strips are also excellent. Good French fries and hamburgers. Very large menu with just about anything you want.

So I hadn’t eaten here in a while but tried it again. I plainly asked for no tomatoes on my salad and of course… they had tomatoes on it anyways! Disappointed! HOWEVER, the grilled chicken was really tender and seasoning was decent. Wish that when asked to put dressing on side that they give enough for all that lettuce –at least 2 containers.

They used to have good food, now it is sub par and the staff is rude. The place needs a definite upgrade because it looks unclean. The last couple of times I got food from there it was lukewarm and I got there before the food was even ready, the fries were cold. the owner is constantly arguing with his front of house staff and it makes it uncomfortable to even go to this establishment. I don’t think I will be back. If I want to go to a hole in the wall with good food I’ll go to Pete’s grill in Stanley. I’m surprised they are still in business honestly. Every time I drive by, there is no business.
