Heard their fried chicken was good, and they didn’t disappoint. Went in for a quick lunch and order the 2-piece fried chicken meal. Got the potato salad and coleslaw for my 2 sides. Both chicken pieces were pretty big, crunchy and tasty. Enjoyed the potato salad, simple and creamy (not mushy). Their coleslaw was good too – crisp (not too “wet”) and just sweet enough. Place has a nice atmosphere and good service – Overall a great lunch

We use to go at least 4 times a week. Don’t know if they have changed hands but the slaw use to be swt and creamy not so much now. The meat on the sandwiches (fish and chicken ) use to be the best around. Great portion thick and hanging off the bun. Last few times we were there the fish was so thin and the chicken was thinking and very tough. Very disappointed. The servers are the absolute best around though.

I hate that after COVID,The fire,& the remolding they started closing at 2pm .
We used to come & Dinner in the evening.
We stopped today on Our way Home around 1pm..
Our Fried Chicken was a little on the cool side.. not fresh at all… Was a little disappointed … But we didn’t complain we are it anyway ..
NEXT time we’ll ask to drop it fresh

Long time place for great fried chicken done the old way! Went late morning on Saturday and the breakfast crowd was still coming in strong. Sat at the bar due to the waitlist for a table and watched the wait staff rush orders from the kitchen to hungry guests.
