This was the worst Chicken Holiday Chicken i ever had…First time trying this place. Called and spoke with Owner/manager and he stated this is the 1st in 27 years. When i seen the reviews. Many people dislike the food also. Now my stomach hurts. Asked if i can return and get something elae. I would of gotten 2 cans pf Ice Tea or Soda to teplace. I recently visited Chicken Holiday, and it was a pretty disappointing experience. My curiosity led me to stop by this place I hadn’t visited in ages (I used to go to the one on Rt. 27 – Edison), but the food and service were not worth the high price.
Although the customer service was okay, the staff was relatively slow. I had to wait a long time to get my order, and unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. The sides were extraordinarily greasy and lacked flavor, even for fried food standards. The chicken was bland, excessively oily, and not well cooked. It was packed in a container with soggy, flavorless ribs swimming in grease. I was highly disappointed with the overall quality of the food.
The restroom needed to be in better condition. A plastic bag was draped over the door with a handwritten “out-of-order” sign. Is there a working restroom in the back? It was not a pleasant experience.
Although the person at the register was friendly and chatty, I shouldn’t have trusted his opinion on the food. I still have the leftovers in my fridge after 3 days (forgot to throw them out), and I will NEVER RETURN unless they ask me to come pick up my refund.
In conclusion, I recommend Chicken Holiday only if you want a slow and disappointing food experience. I don’t know if I went on a bad day (all 4 of us were disappointed, over $100 spent – it was like we threw our dollars in the trash).

One of the best places to get some good chicken. I don’t know what some people are talking about with the one star ratings but this place is awesome. The owner has been there for a long time and is very dedicated to his business and customers. I’ve been here for over 23 years and never been disappointed.

This Chicken Holiday cooks some great chicken which is freshly cooked when ordered. It takes from 20 – 25 minutes so I always call ahead. Ken, the owner, is very friendly and the prices are fair. Basically a takeout restaurant as seating is very limited.

Ignore the one star reviews because this is the BEST chicken spot In Milltown! The owner of this restaurant is someone I’ve been going to since I was a child. Now even as an adult the owner/manager is still there with the same energy! He is all about hard work and his prices on food is amazing. Although it cost a little extra for sauces, with how low the prices are it’s so worth it. My opinion if you don’t know what to get I highly recommend the chicken dinner!

Have ordered here and everything I order the price changes. The online menus because there is more then one attached to the business have different prices and when I questioned it the man with the accent said he does not know how they got there and he said other people have complained
Today I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal with fries and a roll. When it was picked up an extra order of wedge fries were ordered by my brother in law. So when my Husband got tje order there were no fries with his chicken meal and he was still charged for the meal
When I called the man with the accent was very rude and argued with me and said he gave the fries and wouldn’t let me talk . Tols him I would never order from there again. Terrible customer service
