Shout-out to the amazing team at Kingsville’s Chicken Express! I couldn’t decide what I wanted and kept changing my mind at the Drive-thru, but the staff were so patient and polite, and beyond helpful. True professionals at this location, not to mention the food is bomb. I got the fillet fish and spicy chicken tenders. A must-visit!

Ordered 2-4pc tenders, half spicy and half reg. Restaurant doesn’t have spicy tenders they didn’t call or text to inform me. So they didn’t make the order at all. I showed up to pick up my online order, then I am informed that the order is not ready. Order was placed 45 minutes before scheduled pick up. They asked for my phone number and email. 2 methods of communication and no attempt was made before my arrival. What’s the point of placing a scheduled order ahead of time if it is not going to be ready at the scheduled time?

I ordered two 3-piece chicken meals from this location (each with one leg and two thighs), and this was honestly the worst chicken I have ever tasted in my life. Every single piece was overcooked, extremely dry, tough, and completely unappetizing. Both meals had the exact same issue, so this wasn’t a random mistake — it’s a serious problem with how the chicken is being cooked.
I also tried their cookies, and they were mediocre and pretty disappointing. The fish was the only thing cooked well, and the sides and biscuits were good. But none of that matters when the main item — the chicken — was this bad.
What really sucks is that this place is right down the street from my house, but after this experience, I’m never coming back. If this is the quality they’re putting out, I have no interest in giving them another chance.
This visit deserves 1 star, and I hope management seriously re-evaluates how they’re preparing their chicken, because this was unacceptable.

The fried fish, hush puppies, fries, and coleslaw at this place are undeniably the best in town. Trust me, the Kens tartar sauce is on another level. I don’t mind waiting ten minutes for fresh fried fish because it’s absolutely worth it! Plus, the service is both friendly and speedy, making the whole experience even better.

Don’t want to go back! First of all we waited a very long time at the window for our food as well when we got our food we were NOT impressed. I order a biscuit and received a pathetic piece of a roll . In the box I didn’t even get a liner for my food and looks very unappetizing. The staff was sloppy and lazy with our food. Next time , we will stop somewhere else for our chicken .

I’m there every Tuesday for the fish special: two fried fish filets, four hush puppies, fries or coleslaw and a drink for $8.49. It’s always been piping hot when I get it back to work for lunch. The manager Ms Juanita is the sweetest as well! Go see her and get you some delicious fish! Their chicken tenders are my favorite in town too.

Went to the kingsville location and they told me that cash app wasn’t working mind you was told that at the window after given drinks. I told them let me go get out the money. The cashier asked the manager on duty she rudely walked to the window and with her finger she told the cashier to get back the drinks. Like saying come here with her finger. When she could have just told him to get the drinks back or let us take then since we were already given them. We get back to pick up order she opens window takes the money turns around and stays at window with her back towards us like she was telling them that we actually went back. Finally turns around and gives us the change we wait for the food mind you it’s just a number 5 9 piece gizzards and an order of fried okra. It was not even warm. Makes me not even want to go back with their poor service. It has never been like that when I’ve gone. They have always been nice with great service.
