went today around 2PM , was asked to sign a receipt that was half folded , the assistant had self served a 5$ tip , that I was not aware of until checked bank and it had 5$ more than what my order was . called and spoke to a female manager and she said on her end she knows they don’t steal that the male who had me sign was the assistant & she knows he don’t steal … somehow on her end my total was correct but my bank shows the extra 5$ that was not for my food . says chicken express at 2PM . Female manager tone was raised and was very offensive & very content the male don’t steal but he did & my bank is proof . Food was great but ALWAYS make sure you grab a receipt because if you decline they’ll have u sign and tip themself .my bank shows regular price then shows adjusted price fr the tip they added for themselves. bad management bad service . Have no respect

This is the third time I’ve went to one of these type of restaurants. Really impressed by the specific restaurant as it was the same people there is last time. They still were all very friendly and happy. Really nice to see when you go to a place that they enjoy their work. The place was neat and tidy and well-maintained. The food took a little long but was fresh when we got it and very good. Really like their menu options. Will most likely be a place I frequent more often.
Update, went here with daughter and granddaughter as she likes the chicken fingers. It was a wait again and my corn nuggets weren’t fresh but they were generous with the chicken and they got the order right.
Update: went for a quick meal for a helper . Something was happening as it took a while to get the order. Then I waited a while as well to get served at the window. Order was good though
Update; went for dinner late. Took a reasonable time to make. Hardly interacted with the person at all. Meal was OK except for biscuit as it was scrawny skinny. The corn nuggets seemed smaller that they used to be.

Went to the Chicken Express in Alvin, TX. I visit here maybe every other month or so. They have a reputation of giving very old chicken tenders. Thus I usually have to go back and have them remake tenders. This time I just asked for them to be made fresh, not unusual considering I have seen 3 cars ahead of me request the same at this location. After I asked at the window for my chicken tenders to be made fresh, the employee rolled her eyes, said nothing and left. When she came back, she again said nothing as I paid. While the window was open, I heard an employee behind her say mockingly, “I have a special order for two!” And the woman taking my payment laughed. When I told her they forgot straws, she asked “sir?”. My husband heard “sir” too. I’m obviously a 100 lb woman (not a tranny). I replied “Sir?” She says, “Sorry?” as if that’s what she really said. These employees attitudes are as big as their waistbands. I’m actually worried about eating here because they’re rude to everyone. I know public service can be terrible to deal with, but don’t take for granted the nice customers.

I love that gizzards are a menu item here. Except when they aren’t cleaned properly before cooking or spoiled. Surprising what you find under the batter, before you put it in your mouth and have to spit it out. Please, please, please make sure the staff knows how to clean gizzards correctly. Outdated meat needs to be thrown out. Or just quit offering them if the quality can’t be controlled. I really hope this can be fixed and we can order and enjoy eating your gizzards!!

Used to be my favorite place to get chicken strips, but this particular one in Alvin has gone downhill big time. When I pulled up, I couldn’t even tell the place was open because there were no cars in the parking lot, and the property didn’t even look like it was being maintained. Inside, it had the feeling of a prison cafeteria,
or at least what they look like on television. The food was nowhere near as fresh, nor did it taste as good as it does at the Lake Jackson or other locations. The vibe inside made me really want to take my food to go and to get out of there as quick as possible.

I went Chicken Express Thursday, food was made fresh i have never had a problem with them and GREAT customer service. i have never had a problem. there food was good hot. They have good Sweet Tea and amazing Tender i would recomed it if looking for fresh and hot chicken. Employings are very nice respectful. People in the drive thru is sweet and respectful and very patient when i order there. LOVE GOING THERE!!
