My wife ordered me the 8-piece Dark Special which online showed $10.99 & she ordered the 4-piece Tender Meal plus me a side of coleslaw. The total should of been around $25.00 but she wasn’t really aware of the cost of my meal. We start eating and she notices they gave us rolls when she requested biscuits which sucked as she doesn’t like their rolls. I happen to look at the bag and notice the receipt was for $37.22, I asked her to confirm what she ordered and when we added it up it should of been $23 and change plus tax. My wife called them and told them what happened and they stated, “Oh, that menu and pricing is from corporate and we don’t adhere to that.” My wife stated that they should disclose that and the person basically said that they wouldn’t do anything about it. Well, this will be my last time to this location and I’ll just go across the street to Golden Chick. Great customer service and doing what’s right Chicken Express….NOT.

It took them 20 minutes to get our food ready, and then they only gave us 2 pieces of chicken instead of 3. One of the girls was rude when i went up and ask about it, every table in the dining room was dirty.

I’m not a restaurant owner but help me understand how a chicken place can be out of chicken on a Friday night at 6:00 pm? “Sorry no chicken and it is going to be 20 minutes.” Really sounds like bad planning or bad management or both.

We get there, we order, get to the window and then wait. And wait. And wait some more. I’m not sure what exactly we were waiting on. While we were waiting, the girls inside were cleaning up. One was wiping down the top part where the chicken normally sits. (They had everything in boxes below. We got there an hour before the close) as she is wiping, she drops the towel on the floor. Another girl picks it up and tosses it OVER THE FOOD, BACK ONTO THE FOOD BAR! Then the one wiping drops another, picks it up, and proceeded to continue wiping the place where they normally keep the chicken!! Neither one washes their hands and proceeds to work with the food. We get the managers attention because that is just gross. She asked if we were waiting on something. I said we have been waiting. Our food were in boxes just sitting on the side most of that time. By the time we get home, it’s cold. And then when we get it, they forgot one of the meals. To top it off, the sweet tea was nearly unbearably sweet. I know it’s supposed to be sweet, we normally love their tea, BUT we shouldn’t take a drink and have a mouth full of sugar. Overall our first visit to this location not good.

Terrible customer service and they don’t listen to the customer. I didn’t get what I paid for, and when I inquired about it,I was told I was wrong and they were right. I went home and did a video to prove my point as I was not given what I paid for, and I went back to the location to speak with a manager. I spoke with the manager, and she agreed I was correct. The issue I have is that instead of her offering to correct the issue, I had to suggest that she fix the issue rather than her taking the initiative to do so. I received a family green bean but not the full container of my family potatoes.
