I think theyre going bad or something. Oil is not changed my corn taste like my man’s tilapia, its lemon pepper all over it and all I taste is burnt old oil everything is super greasy no salt still I dont know what the hell but I just spent over 75$ and OMG THE RED juice taste like straight alcohol im pregnant i literally just threw so much food away. I feel SICK. My kids eat anything and they wont even eat it. Pics for proof. THE COLESLAW IS HALF DRY HALF SOUP and smells like death.

UPDATE!!!! Just left er, got food poisoning and all I ate was half a chicken tender. Literally everything got thrown away. At this point we dont even care bout the 80$ DO NOT EAT HERE.

Was at the dry cleaners next door and saw this place. Always passed it everyday so I figured since I was there I mine as well try it. Ended up getting a 2 pc fish and 2pc chicken meal. Was pretty damn good. The guy who served me and my friend was great. Nice guy and cracked jokes. Even tho the language barrier was a little tricky at first it made everything better. Great guy and makes good food. Will definitely be back.

I called to get in a order of 50 pieces of chicken for my family for the Hoilday dinner I also got thought I was getting a good deal because, I got a large fry and I pop with it. Then when I got to the store the manager told me that all the things that was sooo good there and the Mac cheese was one of them so I brought one of them and he told me if it wasn’t good to me he would give my money back back on top of it asked for a lot of lemon pepper to be on my chicken and that didn’t happen:
Also I asked it to be on my fries and I got cajun seasoning and my mother couldn’t eat it because she got eat hot or spicy things I called them and told them about and he told me next time don’t order that.. this is the second time of me going there in my order was wrong. Please stay away from this place. They will try to up sale you and the food is not that good
WHAT SIR THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME

Delicious! Breading and crispiness was on point, and the chicken was moist, tender, and the meals are affordable

Moe is the MAN. Just came in and got the whole chicken bundle, some hush puppies and jalapeños poppers. Been coming here for a while now and every time the food is great, especially the fried catfish. Moe was so nice and allowed me to try the no-sugar lemon cake (which was far better than a lemon cake with sugar) and gave me a free drink on the house. Best experience I’ve ever had out of all my times going there. Food was hot and amazing with the lemon pepper seasoning too. Thank you Moe

I had very high expectations when I saw the place but was very disappointed when I tried it. The cashier was friendly, nice, very welcoming and patient in explaining how to order what suits us!

The order it self was not that huge and the time it took to have it ready is way beyond the average and normal.

Food it self, well to be honest I am a foodie person and I always flag the advantages. I didn’t feel there is something so special about the restaurant. Very average restaurant that serves halal food that’s all about it. As for flavor it tasted pretty much as most of those affordable chicken meals sold at some gas stations.

Price paid is way insane and too much compared to food quality and portions served. Honestly the place would be subject to going out of business risk if they don’t improve in all aspects taking into consideration that its within the radius of lots of similar concept restaurants with better quality, convenient prices and fast competitive service.

Manager Moe is very nice and polite and accommodating. Best manager at a food restaurant. I’ve experienced in a very long time. The food is good nice hot and fresh made to order and the Kool-Aid if you mix all three chefs kiss

I gave 1 star too many. I was very dissappointed with my meal. My butterfly shrimp were tough and overcooked, the chicken tenders were very tough to chew, and my fish was not seasoned or tastey also chewey.
All the meat was dry. The best thing was the coleslaw!

I drive for DoorDash in the area frequently and noticed Chicken Avenue this past week and gave it a Google search. After seeing the good reviews, I made a mental note to come by after my next paycheck. Ya’ll did not disappoint.

I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender deal for $9.99. It came with tenders, fries and a side of your choice of sauce. I got ranch, also per suggestion from the nice lady who took my order, I also got their Cajun boom boom sauce for an additional $1.
I also ordered a large mac and cheese, a 20pc popcorn shrimp with cocktail sauce, and a large grape kool-aid.

I’m a french fry kinda girl so I’m just gonna start there. Their fries are reminiscent of Burger King’s, however they are fresher and noticeably crispier. Big fan here. It was obvious the chicken strips were freshly fried, they were nice and hot even after the drive back home. I will say for honesty sake, they were ever so slightly dry. I am, however, a dip person when it comes to chicken strips so pairing them with their sauces hides that sliver of dryness. I ended up dipping more into the ranch, however the boom boom sauce had such a nice flavor, I’m just personally not a big spicy person and this has a slight kick to it. I 100% recommended it if you like spice though.

Moving onto their mac and cheese. As seen in the pictures I’ve shared, there is a nice delicate cheese pull when picking up a bite. I’m a huge fan of the peppery flavor that this yummy side offers, I will note that it does need maybe a pinch of salt to enhance said flavor, otherwise it’s super tasty!

As for my personal favorite, the popcorn shrimp. The pieces are on the larger side. They’re super crunchy, and the batter flavor and crunch pairs really nicely with the soft texture of the shrimp and a dip into their cocktail sauce. I will be a repeat customer for these bad boys alone. So stinkin’ good.

Just for review purposes I will also note that the grape kool-aid slapped. So good, as always. Perfect sugar to kool-aid mix ratio, nice and tart! If I can make a recommendation, especially for the summertime, y’all should invest in an ice machine. My drink was nice and cold as is, but I’m an ice in kool-aid kinda girl so I added some when I got home. Not a big deal but still worth noting. (-:

Overall I’d say Chicken Avenue has gained a new fan/repeat customer. Definitely feeling pretty blessed to live so close to this little gem. 10/10 would recommend giving them a try if you’re in the area! (-: <3
