Only reason for the deduction of 2 stars is 1 the burned chicken and 1, it was served. Otherwise the service was great! We were greeted immediately, both menus presented protein and vegan. After about a 10 minute wait which isn’t long for fresh food, we received tasty shrimp, cat nuggets and fries. The chicken was to burned to taste the seasoning. This restaurant is a Naperville gem that I recommend % family atmosphere and service. Location is conveniently located next door to the DMV.

I ordered 12 pieces of chicken and small catfish and both orders was terrible!!! I ask the guy over the phone to cook both orders well done and it wasn’t, the chicken and fish wasn’t season well and taste like old oil!!!No lemon pepper No sauce for the chicken wasn’t in the bag!! PEOPLE WHO IS READING THIS DON’T BE FOOL BY THIS PLACE BEING LOCATED NEXT TO A DMV AND ITS IN NAPERVILLE AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

My wife and I frequently eat here and love the food and vibe. I come here for the vegan food however, they make the non vegan shrimp dairy free which we love! My son always order a 8pc fried hard with mild sauce and absolutely love it! Everything is so well seasoned. I never knew my food was unseasoned all my life until I ate here! They are soooo accommodating!

I was looking for catfish on my birthday because why not? It’s hard to find good catfish spots in the suburbs. So upon google search I decided to try them out. Babbbyyyy when I tell you these catfish nuggets fried hard were DELICIOUS!! So so good! The prices are amazing as well especially with specials! I am so happy I found a good catfish spot out here because I’ll def be returning. They also have a huge VEGAN menu which I intend to try!

Saw a Facebook post by The Black Foodies and knew we had to visit. Was really looking forward to the new vegan options and they did not disappoint. I had the fried vegan catfish made of hearts of palm. It was seasoned so well, fried crispy and tasted so good. I will definitely be back for more! The owners were so welcoming and attentive. There is also a small dining area if you would like to hang out there or you can take out.
Bonus: Try the lavender lemonade it was delicious.

Another restaurant that is clearly not in it to put out good reasonably price food. I ordered a large perch and shrimp combo and got shrimp with large pieces of crackling. The perch was fried so hard it was not edible. Basically paid $30 for some fried shrimp.

I had the small catfish and the chicken tinders. The “small” was two huge fillets lol and it was so juicy and tinder! The tinders were just as beautiful! Came in from Nashville and will definitely be back anytime I’m in town. Food was cooked fresh! Definitely a hidden gem right here.

I ordered the chicken and catfish and both were delicious and seasoned well. Renata, the owner is a sweetheart. This is definitely my new chicken/fish spot. Although I am not vegan, I will be trying some of those options because they sound amazing.
