The foods good for lunch, my biggest problem is they don’t ask for your name anymore, so I can’t use my preferred name. They just put down what’s on the card. Most of the cashiers don’t even look you in the eye anymore, just ask for the order, take your card, and hand you the receipt. This used to be the friendliest Chick-Fil-A I’d been to and now all the new hires can’t even have the decency to ask what your name is.

I understand that this is an extremely busy location, but this has to be the slowest Chick-fil-A. If you come at a busy time like lunch or dinner, be prepared to wait 20 minutes standing in line, and another 30 waiting for your food. Most of the time, there’s a few employees standing in the back not preparing orders while fries and sandwiches are ready and need to be bagged. It’s not that they’re waiting on food to come out they are just extremely slow and putting together the orders.

They don’t clean the oil and service is consistently incredibly slow. Purposely have too few people taking orders so the line gets artificially longer

Saw one of the folks working in the assembling area stare strangely at people, including myself. Don’t know if the University properly trains its dining staff in hospitality anymore to avoid odd behavior (kinda sub-par behavior you expect from a middle school kid).
We used to have warm and jolly folks serving food over here, now it seems a like bunch of disinterested people. The fries taste odd, don’t know about the number of frying cycles the oil undergoes.

So I love Chick-fil-A and have worked for the company for 4+ years. I prefer not to go to express Chick-fil-A’s cause of the limited menu. Today I was informed that the menu has been shrunk even more. Chick-fil-A Express in the Union no longer sells chicken strips, which is something I get on almost a daily basis.
Chick-fil-A is a phenomenal company but their Express store, clearly disappoints!

Okay chicken and good waffle fries as you would expect. Huge issue is the long wait times. I have waited nearly an hour a couple of times for a meal, and around 25 minutes when it was just me and a handful of other customers.

Not open for breakfast. Slower than anything on earth. 20 minutes usually for one combo meal. Unacceptable. Whoever runs and owns it doesn’t even have milkshakes on the menu. Pure junk.

The cuisine is lacking in originality but the portions are large and affordable, the seating is comfortable, the WiFi free and fast, and the staff friendly. What more could a student ask for.
