They run that place like the TSA at the airport. I have only been there once and no one asked me what sauce and then in the end, I saw that all the attendants were running back and forth for sauce for all the cars. I assumed that was a training day, as I saw some new faces. Everyone is allowed one of those days.
The waffle fries are always a pleasure and I guess my biggest complaint is looking at what color they decide my car is. It is always says “Tina black sedan.” “Tina gray sedan.” “Tina brown sedan.” It’s made me want to research exactly what shimmery brown/gold speckled color is called again
We were only second or third in line, so ordering itself wasn’t the issue. The issue started right after. Every employee looked exhausted and unhappy, and the whole place felt awkward and rushed. I had always heard how great Chick-fil-A was, so this was not the experience I was expecting for my first visit.
When we got to the car, my order was wrong in just about every way possible. I was missing my large fries and the dipping sauce I was told I had to try. My sandwich was just a bun and an overcooked chicken patty — no lettuce, cheese, or tomato.
I went back inside and politely explained what was missing. The same employee who took my order said he could box up the missing items instead of remaking the sandwich, which I appreciated. Then he tapped on the screen for a minute and told me it would be over $6.
Apparently, because I didn’t bring the incorrect sandwich back inside with me, I had to pay again for items I had already ordered and paid for — even after showing my receipt to what appeared to be a manager.
I walked out, grabbed my wallet, reordered the exact same meal, paid twice, and left. My daughter was embarrassed and apologetic, and this ended up being the worst fast-food experience I’ve ever had.
To be fair, I later visited a Chick-fil-A in Tulsa, and it was night and day. Friendly staff, correct order, and lots of “my pleasure.” That confirmed this was a location issue, not a brand issue.
Unfortunately, this OKC location seriously missed the mark.
I asked the lady specifically for Gluten free buns on two of my sandwiches and no dairy because my fiance was allergic. I got two regular sandwiches for myself making my order 4 sandwiches total. I just got home, another 30min drive. Now I’m finding out they gave me some type of Muiltigrain bun and the its crispy chicken instead of grilled. Not only is the buns wrong the the chicken has Gluten on it too. I can’t even remove the chicken and make her a sandwich with her own bread because of this.
