Over the past two months this Chick-fil-A has disappointment me. Fries are always soggy, sandwiches have obviously been left to sit bagged under the heating elements for too long, and now they don’t even accommodate special requests to avoid those issues (i.e. last time I explained the problem form past visits when I tried requesting a well-done sandwich and the sandwich I got was so soggy the pickles dissolved into the bread. I have been a WEEKLY diner of Chick-fil-A for ten years. I worked for Chick-fil-A in Newport News for fives years, and was supervisor and back of house trainer for 3 years. This service as of late is unacceptable and does not meet the corporate standards I was taught as a former employee

I LOVE Chick Fil-A and CFA Martinsville has great staff and great food. My complaint is that I sat in the drive thru today for at least 20 minutes. I always place my order on the mobile app, which should make the process faster, but that is not always the case. Most of the time there is two employees taking orders in one line while only one employee is taking orders in the other line in the drive thru. It also seems that once you pull around to get your order that other cars, besides the one that is at the head of the line, are getting their orders. This in turn slows down everything especially if you are in the inside line. You could be stuck for quite a while at times because the first car is not asked to move up so the cars behind that have received their order can exit the line. I definitely think that things could be improved when it comes to the drive thru experience.

The food was great, but the past few times I’ve been here we did wait in the Drive-Thru longer than I have at other stores. Definitely not your most upscale Chickfila. Food was great, as always. But with all the younger workers running around it doesn’t feel like a chickfila. Especially when the workers are using cell phones in the bathrooms, holding up the bathroom line just to speak on the phone.
