I’ve gone to this spot 2 or 3 times and each of them was excellent. Food is delicious but my absolute favorite are the Salchipapa (as u can tell by my picture, those were yummy!)
The service is well time mannered and all the ladies that work upfront and in the kitchen are sweet and kind! And they always have a big smile on their face!
I definitely recommend this place to anyone stopping for a quick bite at Downtown Roanoke!

I ordered the Italian hoagie after advising staff this was my first time visiting. They pointed out that they have daily specials, however I wasn’t interested in today’s special which was a meatball sub. This sandwich tasted good. However, value for money wasn’t there in my opinion, as I received an approximately 8″ sub for $12.00. I was still hungry afterwards and that is never the case when I get subs from some of the other shops locally.
I want to go back again. The sub was delicious and well balanced with the flavors. I probably won’t have my bread toasted next time, as it make it tough to chew. I will try a cheesesteak next time. I might come back and update the review.

#6 Chipotle chicken hoagie is fan freaking tastic! Highly recommend and my husband got a Philly cheesesteak hoagie and it’s the best that I’ve personally had! Crinkle, cut fries, nice and crispy too!

I’m from Philly and I’ve been so disappointed with the local cheesesteaks that I gave up trying any more of them. This place had me at a weak moment (St. Paddy’s Day) and I decided to give theirs a try. The bread was on point, the meat wasn’t steak-ems, and the onions and peppers had a nice char on them. Ordered an Italian sub. Price was reasonable for downtown. The ingredients were fresh, and the sub was put together well. Their bread is AWESOME. Great sandwich, and I’m glad someplace like this is open downtown. I’ll be back!

This is your good, standard Philly sub that does the job.
Crusty roll that’s soft inside, quality meats, doesn’t squish out on the first bite or bites thereafter.
My favorite sub ingredient is always “the juice” and the way it interplays into the meat, lettuce, and onions.
Unfortunately all my juice was absorbed into the last bite of my sub this day. A more even distribution would have made it a 5 star probably.
Located inside the Market building downtime, you can grab a quick sub to go or sit at any available table in the communal space.

I was hankering for a patty at the Jamaican restaurant, but they were closed. Since I was downtown, I decided to try this spot. I had been eyeing it for a while. I have to be honest, I dont believe I will go here again. The food was good but it was not worth ($14, tip included). I purchased the Italian hoagie and asked for it to be cut in half. I was so certain that I would be taking the other half home, since I can never finish a whole sub. Well I was wrong. I finished the sub and still felt hungry. I think if they made the sub larger, added chips or reduced the price it would be well worth it. What a shame…
