Outstanding tacos but the prices are outrageous. I especially liked the flavor of the pollo asado. They have a nice, clean little salsa bar, and some pretty tasty salsas…I wasn’t fond of the escabeche. Counter service means almost none, which is better than usual. The dining room is clean and colorfully decorated.

Very friendly service, and the food came out very quickly! Everything was delicious. We ordered carnitas tacos (we got 4 for a meal), the chile relleno burrito, and the chicken taquitos.

HIGHLY recommend trying the chili oil from the salsa bar – it’s simply superb! Smoky, well seasoned, and not unapproachable spicy. Perfect flavor for everything!

I don’t usually comment on prices, but this place over prices really bad. I got a burrito & a drink for close to $30!! Let alone, the burrito had literally 6 TINY pieces of steak in it & literally 1 slice of avocado when it was supposed to have GUAC. This was a takeout order & when I asked for sides of salsa instead of giving me the already filled salsa containers, they had me fill my own. Owner (the guy) is nice & place is clean. Food has good flavor aside from issues stated above.

If you live in SLO county or just visiting, you really should come eat here. The food is really fresh and tasty without being heavy. You can eat inside or outside. The outside seating is beautiful. Anf it’s in a quiet little outlet so it doesn’t feel too crazy or noisy.

I got a regular burrito with steak $13 and $2 extra for steak. The steak was verrrrry flavorful and the burrito wasn’t dry. Pretty big burrito actually! And what really made it special was the staff <3 kind, asked how everything was. FAST and very clean. Always a great place to eat!

Very colorful and nice atmosphere, the chips and salsa station was really clean (and they were good too!), the bathroom was cleaned, and most importantly the food was really good, also really good combinations and menu. We ordered an asada soft taco and a burrito.

Bonus: they have outdoor seats and that area is doggy friendly .

Great & efficient service of delicious food in generous portions. Grilled fish tacos were seasoned beautifully & were filled with big pieces of fish, topped with a flavorful salad of red cabbage, mango & jalapeños. Burritos were really big–though a tighter wrap would make them less messy to eat–less fun too maybe;)

It’s been several years since I’ve been here. When I lived down the street this was a go to spot and always got a Downtown Burrito. They went downhill for a bit with their other (since closed) location on santa Rosa.

But they have done a great job making super fresh food. The food is better than ever and they make it how you want. Their menu only said breaded fish but we asked if they could do grilled. They did and it was so good. It should be a regular menu item. Also it was great to find out that they prep and cook it there in house. Great local restaurant with super fresh and delicious food.

This is what a real burrito looks like and it was only $15. Chicho’s is ridiculously expensive with subpar products

Just visited this newly owned restaurant as I like the previous restaurant. We paid 30 dollars for a burrito and a quesadilla. The quesadilla was supposed to have grilled chicken. It was boiled chicken. I ordered it with no Pico as I don’t eat raw onion, it was mostly Pico. There was very little cheese and it was overall Unappetizing. I live in morro bay and took the food Togo on the way back from Costco. I threw the food in the trash and will never go back. Terrible food.
