Chicago-style hot dogs here are actually better than in Chicago! It sounds crazy, but it’s true. Everything is incredibly delicious—the sausage is top-notch, and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and prepared to order. The lady who served us was so sweet and welcoming; it’s her own business, and you can really feel the love she puts into it. Highly recommended!

I have passed this little place a few times and have I’ve heard amazing things about these hoagies.. doing an instacart run there. I decided to try a Chicago hoagie and I definitely concur! It was definitely a very filling meal and at least three different meals! Even after you eat the entire hoagie in the end you have a salad you can eat from all of the droppings fell off onto the paper as you were eating it! The hoagie was toasted to perfection. There was only one worker and she was very polite and I will tell you…you will have to have some patience especially if there is only one person running the whole shebang! However, it was made fast, fresh and definitely will be back! I had a bag of chips as well as a soda to go along with it and also grabbed some cookies to go! Support this local little sandwich shop and give it a try! You won’t be disappointed!

I experienced the 131st Street Hoagie.
My husband had the Altgeld Garden Hoagie – see picture.
Very messy as a true hoagie should be.
Very delicious! Big portions. High quality ingredients. Staff friendly, willing to accommodate my special requests. My bun was toasted and his was not (as ordered). I think toasted is less messy and tastier.
Added Northside fries and a slice of chocolate cake. Total under $40. Will be back!! Great meal made to order.
After eating we agreed next time we are wanting a sandwich or any burger place we would eat Chicago House of Hoagies instead – much healthier and more filling. I ate half of mine saving the rest for later, he ate all of his and is very full. He said “If I am going to break my keto & have carbs – this sandwich is worth it!”

Drove from Green Bay to check out today. Great experience in shop while ordering – clean and uniquely decorated front of house space and the glance you get of the kitchen shows a clean and organized space back there as well. The gal who helped me out was ultimately the owner (put two and two together after reading some of the press aticles hanging on the walls) and she was absolutely the sweetest. Gave recommendation of the Chicago Style Hoagie which I tried and it was incredible. I have spent the last few hours after eating trying to genuinely think if I have ever had a better sandwich, and here I am to tell you after about 4 hours of on and off consideration that the answer is NO. Excited to try more of the menu, just bummed it will take me a visit from Green Bay to do so. 10/10!!

The food was great! I was surprised by my hoagie, the sum is definitely greater than its parts. Wife inhaled her Chicago dogs and reported they were legit. I don’t know what they put on the fries but they were fantastic. I love that they don’t have ketchup in restaurant to defile your hot dog. We could tell there is a lot of love and soul put into the menu and the food.

My wife and I had an outstanding experience at Chicago House of Hoagie. I ordered the Chicago Hoagie and it was absolutely delicious—loaded with fresh toppings and full of flavor. The hoagies are amazing. Top 5 best sandwich of my life. Their chalkboard sign notes that “if it’s not messy, it’s not a hoagie”…they are telling the truth! We got our hoagies to go and I ate mine as we drove…what a delicious mess. Be smarter than me and just take the time to eat it in house!
