Update: I was impressed that they refunded my entire pizza for the mistake that was made. I decided to give them another chance tonight. Pizza was correct, on time, hot and ready to go. Very good pizza and the employee that helped me was great. Thanks for restoring hope in an industry that seems to be going downhill. Just as i remembered. I will eat here again.
Chicago Connection used to be the flagship pizza chain for this valley. Now I understand why they have gone downhill. We used to eat here quite often , but hadn’t been for a while, so I was looking forward to taking a pizza home for the night on my way home from work. I ordered a large pepperoni with jalapeños. I got to the store and paid for my pizza and the girl opened it to show it to me and it was just pepperoni. No jalapeños. No problem, I understand mistakes are made. But I paid an extra 3 dollars for the extra topping. All I wanted was a refund for the toppings I didn’t get. She had to get the manager because she said it wasn’t possible.
The manager couldn’t see the receipt or the screen and said “I guess I should start bringing my glasses to work”. He also said there was no way to give me a refund because I already paid. What kind of a place can’t give a refund??? The pizza was much thinner than I remember and was undercooked. It was doughy. Very disappointed. Only 4 locations left, I get it.

Haven’t had chicago connection in a while so driving by i thought I’d give it a shot and it was totally worth it! My son and I ordered a half cheese, half Canadian bacon pizza and it was amazing tasting and looking! And it was relatively fast coming out to us too! The waiter was very kind and friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful with classic rock filling the building! Would highly recommend for comming back again

I went to Chicago connection on a Monday, they don’t open until 4 that day, so I waited in the parking lot. When it turned time to open the staff was so warm and friendly. I ordered a pizza that is no longer on the menu but they made it for me anyway. He thanked me for patiently waiting and offered to bring the order out to my car for me. These 2 young guys are amazing!

Pretty embarrassing when you have to come home and finish cooking your pizza. Ordered pick up and it was not even close to done. If you charge a premium for pizza, I am going to expect a premium pizza. CC is good, but very inconsistent. Not good enough for me to continue to pay their prices when it’s hit or miss in the quality.

I don’t do a lot of reviews, good or bad. But I had to do a review for the pizza that I just got this evening from Chicago connection in meridian. This is probably the worst pizza I’ve ever gotten their. I quit going for a while because I wasn’t having good luck but then my son got it a couple times out at his house and it was pretty good. The pizza tonight was burned, the cheese was burned and I asked for extra cheese and paid for extra cheese and there was no extra cheese on this pizza. I always ask for fresh garlic and they just dumped a whole bunch of that canned crap on the pizza. Also, I don’t know what passes for pizza sauce at this place anymore but this stuff tonight was pretty much just water with a little bit of red coloring. This was awful and it was expensive. I guess I’ll go back to just not going out there anymore.

Well it was a Monday I tried to treat the fam to some ordered food…..hadn’t had Chicago Connection in a while.
guess we accidentally ordered the “Abstract Expressionist Special” because all the cheese and toppings slid to one side like they were fleeing the crust. The delivery showed up fashionably late, was colder than my enthusiasm by the time it arrived. Honestly, if I wanted cold melted cheese stuck to a cardboard box, I could’ve made it myself. Hope the driver at least enjoyed the part that stayed upright during the trip.

I wanted to take the family out to eat since we had several people from out of town visiting. Not only did they accommodate a last minute group but the service was fantastic! So glad we decided to come have dinner here! Shout out to the server Sydney for the awesome service! You really made it a great experience for my entire family!

We have loved Chicago Connection and have had delicious pizza from them for years, but the last few experiences with this location have been really lousy. Let me preface by saying we live less than 3 miles from this location. A few weeks ago we ordered delivery which took nearly 40 minutes longer than the estimated time. This was on a weekend and we placed the order online as “as soon as possible” delivery, so we gave grace. This weekend we placed an order online at around 12:45pm, scheduled for a 6:25 delivery time. At 7:30 pm we called to ask what’s taking so long and we’re told there’s a football game so they’re busy. Our pizza didn’t arrive until nearly 8:00pm. No discount, no apologies. If we can’t trust that a pizza ordered 5 hours ahead of time will be making it to us we won’t be ordering pizza again, simple as that.

It occurred to me that I’ve driven by this place many times and have entirely ignored it. So I took the plunge and tried it for lunch. It was empty. The meatball sandwich was quite nice. I asked for the breading to be hollowed out to make it slightly less carb-heavy.
Perhaps like the legendary Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, a Chicago meatball sandwich is bound to have a cult following. I rarely order them. I found this quite enjoyable.
Before my first bite, just tasting the cheese alone reminded me how tasty and satisfying a robust mozzarella can be. Sliced meatballs made eating the sandwich manageable and not a jaw-breaking experience.
Chicago Connection was founded in Boise. It isn’t a large nationwide brand – so it’s good to know if you like supporting local Idahoan businesses.

Walking in.. it feels like pizza. If you could bottle what you think a Chicago pizzeria should smell like it’s this. Being from Wisconsin there’s a love for deep dish. Everyone at the counter from the gent that looked for my order to the pizza chef that offered to help me to my car was so friendly. The pizza was great! Crust to topping ratio on point. For sure will be back when that deep dish craving hits!
