Chic-Fish-kin had a very rocky debut here in Monett. The food was kept under heat lamps and the town is not large enough to keep that food cycling at a high enough pace for it to remain fresh. Fortunately, things have changed. All food is now cooked fresh to order. They offer Chicken, Fish, and one pork meal. Prices are maybe a little bit high for what you get, but the food is very tasty. This establishment is based around healthy eating. Nothing is fried in oil. They have an air fryer that keeps the calories low but still maintains a good crunch. Everything inside was very clean. I was pretty impressed. All in all it’s a decent laid back place to eat lunch.

I just ate here for the first time and I must say the steamed tilapia was delicious!! The Three piece meal is the perfect size portion for me. Being 6’3″ and 215 I always order the bigger meal decent price and my sister loved the convection chicken! Thanks Chic-Fish-Kin for a healthier better place to eat in Monett!

We couldn’t wait for it to open to try it but after trying it and not able to eat it, the chicken had a strange flavor and the sides were like they had been steamed after they had been cooked and sitting in a cardboard box. won’t be going back
