EXCELLENT! Had Bruschetta and Meatballs for an appetizer, both very tasty. The bread and dip on the table were amazing. Ceaser salad and Mediterranean salad were great. Mains were Shrimp Scampi and Lamb Ossobuco. Both were very good. Service was excellent and attentive. Worked around wife’s allergies and we were very happy when we left. 10/10 will be returning.

Left feeling very satisfied. When your taste buds is feeling full after a couple of bites it means the food is good.

Lunch special + dessert is a total steal I think.

Disappointing. I have enjoyed this restaurant for several years. We have had dinner here for my birthday twice, special occasions and tonight for our wedding Anniversary.

After ordering we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Our server came out after 50 minutes to tell us it would be out shortly.
No offer for more bread, more wine. No complimentary appetizer. We watched as others were served who arrived after us and were provided complementary drinks for their patience. Our bill arrived in full, with no offer to reduce it for the wait time. We arrived at 6 and left at 8:20.
The food was good. The pizza looked like it came from a box and deep-fried crust.
Just Disappointing. Not sure when I will be back.

We wanted a local spot for Italian Food and found Chianti’s here in Brentwood/Oakley. Can’t believe we’ve never been to this restaurant. There’s plenty of parking since it’s in a shopping center. When we came it was early dinner so there was no wait in line. Perfect timing right?

We loved everything we ordered from the wine to pasta to salmon down to dessert. Love love the bread they served I think it was balsamic vinegar with garlic and olive oil? (I could be wrong). That was very good very filling so dangerous. I recommend ordering calamari for starters always – it’s my fave!

The ambiance is beautiful, has Italian vibe, romantic. They also have patio seating, maybe can have large parties. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. I’d come her again. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it.

Amazing experience at Chianti’s! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was incredible, and the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive throughout the meal, making sure everything was perfect. One small suggestion: it would be a hit if they left a bit more olive oil on the table, as it’s very tasty and runs out quickly. Also, offering coffee would make the experience even better. Overall, exceptional!

Chianti’s has had its ups and downs over the years, IMO. Most recently they seem to have been consistently good on both food and service. We’ve had many things on the menu and all have been solid. Dinner prices are reasonable. Lunch prices – $20 for most entrees – are excellent for the quality. Maybe Brentwood’s best restaurant.

STAY AWAY! I have never given a 1 star review but today was such a horrible experience, I had to leave this review. The staff didn’t seem to care at all, it wasn’t even busy, less than 5 tables and 2 of them arrived 10-15 minutes after us. Food has always been great, service is always a little slow, but today was the worst.

We arrived shortly after 4PM on a Friday, handed menus and served waters, after that, nothing, the waitress never came back, we watched a few tables seated after us get served immediately, possibly regulars, although we do come at least once a month. We waited over 20 minutes, eventually we walked out.

The staff didn’t seem to care, watched us walk out and didn’t ask if anything was wrong, just stared as we walked out. That’s too bad, we really enjoy the food here even though the service is slow, but not sure how they decide who to serve, is it regulars, reservations, the way you dress, who knows. I know my family won’t be back, which is too bad, we were starting to become regulars.

Definitely a winner. The food, the drink, and service was top notch. It wasn’t crowded at all when we went at 5 for dinner I think we chose a booth a little too close to the diners at the table nearby because we could hear their entire conversation.

I never been here before and wanted some good Italian food. The moment I walked in, it smelled amazing. Was greeted and sat quickly. The server was friendly and witty. Got the food. Calamari was chrisp and seasoned perfectly. My vodka pasta was delicious. My friends Alfredo was creamy. The noodles where aldente. I will be back again.
