We had such a great experience at Chiang Mai thanks to the amazing service from Manali, Kim, and Jane.
Manali was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When the inside was full, she made sure we were comfortable by seating us on the heated patio, and then went above and beyond by moving us back inside as soon as a table opened up. That level of care really stood out and made us feel valued as guests.
Kim and Jane were also wonderful. Both were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. Their positive energy made the whole experience even better.
Excellent service all around. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This restaurant is a must when you’re in York. In fact, it’s so good I’d travel from downtown core. Amazing and authentic Thai food. Restaurant vibe, decor and plating are all about fine dining. The dishes are very inexpensive considering the Michellin star-like plating style and taste. I was blown away. The service is amazing. You get treated like a VIP straight from entry. Wait staff are very attentive, mixologists at the bar make you feel like you landed home and the manager floats around checking in on your experience. My favorite dishes: lemongrass dumplings, fresh Thai rolls with tofu, crispy fish, green papaya salad, mango salad, chicken green curry, mango sticky rice, Mango Sticky Rice cocktail (heaven!) and matcha ice tea.
I found this gem in google reviews as it’s a block away from my hotel and ate there twice (bar seating and patio) plus ordered delivery when they were full. This place is always full so advance reservations are recommended. Thank you Chiang Mai team for the excellent experience! If you offered a 5 course tasting menu, I would absolutely reserve one.

The interior décor is absolutely beautiful — warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy yet elevated atmosphere.
The food was authentic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted fresh and well-balanced, with rich, traditional Thai flavours that really stood out.
Carlo our server and all staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire meal. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and they made us feel very well taken care of.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a truly exceptional experience. The food was outstanding, both in presentation and flavor. I ordered the Khao Soi and opted to substitute shrimp in place of beef, which proved to be an excellent choice. The dish was rich, well-balanced, and beautifully prepared. Our server, Tatyana, provided exemplary service throughout the evening. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. While the parking situation is tight, the quality of the cuisine, the level of service, and the restaurant’s elegant ambiance more than compensate. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would gladly recommend.

Best Thai spot hands down in the area. You won’t find a better blend of taste, service, and vibe. We reserved tonight at 6:30pm, and I just want to give a shout out to our server Soroush (I hope I am spelling your name right!) who somehow remembered us from our first visit and gave us tremendous service once again.
I recommend going for the calamari, green curry, and the pad see ew or pad thai. But you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Give the dessert a try as well with thai iced tea ice cream!

We visited this Thai restaurant to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Carlos was especially excellent and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great evening. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything throughout the night went smoothly.
The food was delicious and full of flavor, with each dish coming out fresh and well prepared. What really made the night special was the thoughtful birthday surprise. The restaurant brought out a free slice of cake with a candle, which was an awesome touch and made the celebration feel even more memorable.
Overall it was a great experience with great food and outstanding service. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion.

Love this place! The food is absolutely delicious. The ube tiramisu is a must-try — it’s my favorite so far. Every dish we ordered was amazing, and you can never go wrong with Thai food. The service was excellent too; even though they were busy, multiple staff members checked up on us. Definitely coming back!

First time trying this restaurant and service was impeccable. Khim.R was our server and her attention to detail was top notch. From providing recommendations, extra napkins for our baby and bringing kid cutlery to even entertaining our baby so we can just get a quick bite of our food. She was always there to see if we were doing ok and if we needed anything else. We sat in the heated patio and it was warm enough, didn’t even feel like we were outside.
Food: we ordered the Khao Soi Surf & Turf and it surprised me. I was not expecting a full lobster and it was delicious. The butter that came with it was just a blast of flavour in your mouth. The Duck Panang was also good but the coconut rice was the scene stealer. Wish we could replace the noodles with rice for the surf & turf.
Overall we would definitely be back to try other items.

Really delicious Thai food! It’s great that you can customize your spice level for a lot of the main dishes. The decor is super cute in here which adds to a nice vibe, along with great service!
*Beware that it does get busy so I would recommend making a reservation. Parking full at times too.
Recommended dishes: Beef pad see ew (my go to order!), chicken pad thai (didn’t get a picture if this), pineapple fried rice, fresh rolls with added shrimp, thai milk tea.
Other comments: mango salad lacked some acidity, calamari was only mildly crunchy. Mango sticky rice drink was yummy but expensive, it was fun to try but did not become a regular order. Mango sticky rice was good but not outstanding.
