This is may absolute favorite place for Asian food. I am a Chicago native and I relocated to Dallas. When ever I come home, I an intentional about coming here for some vegetable egg rolls. The rest of the food on the menu is amazing however, I love their egg rolls.

This was my first time visiting Chicago and I have heard amazing things about this restaurant. The food quality was okay. The servers were nice and kind. I am highly upset that we were charged a “service fee” because we had a total of “5” people. We order meals for all 4 adults and the 5th person, a 2 year old who did not have her own food ordered for her was charged. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT EVEN IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS TWO YEARS OLD WITH YOU, THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED AN ADULT AND YOU WILL BE FULLY CHARGED. It’s crazy that they provide kid cups, plates, and silverware but want to charge ADULT prices. The manager argued us down and was very rude. Also they try to claim that it’s their policy to charge a service fee when it’s 5 or more people but have no policies in line for children and age requirements. The food was good but management left a horrible taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend coming here if you want good service at reasonable prices. 3/10.

Other places charge extra for noodles or don’t have them or don’t let you share plates.
Chi Tung’s lets me split my plate with both my kids at no extra charge.

I had an amazing experience here last night with my dad. His birthday is today and I told them when I made my reservation and they had a special dessert for him with the robot singing happy birthday. So special and it was just that simple thing that sets this place apart, they care about their customer experience and try to make it special.
We had the hibachi, since my dad has never had it before, and I knew he’d absolutely love it. Our chef was awesome and entertaining, and had us laughing the whole time. Whoever they have bartending, they’re doing a fantastic job and make amazing mixed cocktails. Everything was incredible, and I’ve never been so excited for leftovers in my life. Can confirm heating them up in the frying pan tastes just like they did when first made last night.
I will absolutely be back and bring more family members. We might have to stop by here from now on whenever any of us fly out of Midway because it’s just down the road.

My only complaint is that there wasnt really any interaction with the chef (no sake shots, no food tossed into our mouths, not really entertaining or interacting with the customers) , which is a large part of the hibachi experience.
Be prepared to wait over an hour, even when they tell you it will only be 15 minutes.
The food was delicious though.

We came in as first-time visitors hoping for a fun family experience with sushi, steak, and a hibachi show. From the moment we arrived, the service was completely unprofessional. The hostess didn’t know anything about the restaurant, gave nonchalant answers, and we were left confused and ignored.
We waited, got seated at a table with strangers, and were served water with zero explanation or guidance. There was no effort to make our experience enjoyable. We left before even trying the food because the customer service was that bad.
If this is the standard of service here, I cannot recommend it. Hopefully, this review saves others time and disappointment. For us, this was a hard “no.”

Waited 1 and 10 minutes for cold chicken and old translucent cucumbers that had no pickled onions and it tasted like dish soap. Threw it away. We ordered sweet and sour chicken and mild cucumber salad…just disappointing…totally going downhill for take out.

Hit or miss. I have been twice in three weeks for buffet. The first time everything hot and fresh. The second time noodles were cold which shouldn’t be seeing how I was one of the first people there. Which makes me think the noodles werent fresh and probably warmed up from a previous day.
