This is a nice little Asian place. My hunch is that it’s family run. The ambiance is decent, but we recommend Chi Thai for takeout. The dishes we have had all have fresh ingredients and taste great. We generally eat healthy and my preference is the chicken broccoli while my better half likes the mild flavor and vegetable mix of the chicken asparagus. A solid four stars.

This Chinese restaurant has been my favorite for over 14 years and i usually just take out or order on doordash. I always order the same things but Tonight it drew the line. when i placed the order for my dinner i specifically order a Szechuan pork with well done meat, peanuts and black beans (no black bean sauce just the beans). The order was placed and it was picked up came home to an order with not well done meat and no sauce at all. No Szechuan sauce nothing, with water at the bottom from the vegetables. The order looked terrible, my husband decided to take it back because he is tired on getting the order differently every time we order it. Other times he has been able to eat it but this time it was terrible. He went in and ask the rude guy on the front if they could recook it and sauce, make a new one or refund his money. The guy refused to refund it or remake the order. The guys kept saying thats what you ordered, where no where during the call did we say no sauce or under cook pork. Extremely disappointed, he left the food in the counter as that was not eatable. They should reconsider their customer service and their consistency on preparing the food as flavor and all changes when i had ordered.

Visiting Columbus for a conference. Always like to try Thai food in a new place. This restaurant was outstanding for their delivery service and the portions and the taste of the food. So fresh and delicious. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better batch of pad Thai-so good that I actually had to order it twice within four days! A shout out to the delivery driver who went above and beyond, thank you Dara!

This was my first time, but my friend had been here before. This is a beautiful place. When you walk in, you are greeted by the host, and on your right, you’ll see a nice bar area. They had booths and tables. The menu has Chine and Thai options. We shared the appetizer, which was the Thai mini rolls that come 6 per order. We also shared an entry, Thai Chicken Cashew, with fried rice on the side. The portions were enough for two people if you don’t eat a lot. The food was good and hot. The service was good and pretty fast. The bathrooms were clean. I loved how intimate it felt. Great vibe/atmosphere. It was a Saturday at 4pm. It wasn’t too busy, and our food came out quick.

Food was great. I ordered the spring roll (crispy and large) and the dinner drunken noodles. Noodles and great deeply savory flavor but it wasn’t that spicy, had to ask for spicy oil. Chicken and shrimp in dish were perfectly cooked. Restaurant was clean and tastefully appointed. I would return.

Used to be my very favorite, but it has been steadily going downhill. My dining companion and I on this cold evening wanted to warm up and we just ordered a sizzling rice soup for two. I knew we were gonna be in trouble when the server brought the sizzling rice soup to us when he put the rice in there was no sizzle, which is what sizzling rice soup is well I knew the minute I tasted it. Why because it wasn’t hot so I’d never warmed up and there is nothing worse than not hot steamy soup on a cold night or any night for that matter so that was strike one that was all we ordered that’s a pretty substantial portion and we’re not big eaters, but I did not enjoy my meal at all and we usually love the sizzling rice soup strike too beautiful atmosphere ruined because now the servers are serving food on these horriblelooking cheap metal carts that they push and it clicks and clans and it’s annoying and really cheap and they experience chai Thai what were you thinking?
Updated 12/24/2025 The Nightmare Before Christmas . Arrived with my party of 8 for our 6 o’clock reservation. It wasn’t crowded – it was mobbed. They were way over their heads. Reservation was made a few weeks before but they insisted I didn’t have one. I said I also called back a week ago to make reservations for NYE. Bebe W was almost going to let me go without eating, and I was very very insistent and she said OK we will will will make it work so she can move some table that we were cramped, and one person had in our party had to keep standing up for others to get by it was so much they were. They took way too many reservations. They told us that it was Christmas prime time and it would be 45 minutes before we got our food which was understandable but it was 45 minutes before a server, Cyrus came and then another 45 minutes really before he took our orders and got our food and he brought our food like one person at a time and there was a long wait in between and then he brought people food without their rice and said oh well, we don’t have fried rice anymore. We didn’t have complicated orders we all had water. We all had one entrée that was it. It was 2 1/2 hours before everybody got their food on the way out. I stopped to tell Bebe how terrible. The service was, but also the food was not up to par. One person got the wrong order had to wait forever and I had ordered some thing without spice and it had spice. I had to eat it because I wasn’t gonna wait another 45 minutes for it plus I could get our servers attention anyway and then I said I wanna make sure you have me down for New Year’s Eve and I told her again that I was really disappointed in tonight that I definitely had that reservation and then the girl next-door said oh yeah, I remember when we looked at I just looked at the paper and sure enough there was my name with the number eight because she had said we had a party of eight that didn’t show up. I said but that was me because I don’t know she said I don’t think so. Well, it was because we had a good table for you. so I was just livid. It was a nightmare Bebe did Apologized and said that our New Year’s Eve meal for the two of us would be complementary. Hopefully we’ll have a decent meal so far two strikes in a row.

Crispy sesame chicken: it was very crispy indeed. They do a different style of sesame chicken here, the chicken is in slices rather than chunks.
Crispy rice soup: love the crispy rice, it was a little salty for me

we went to celebrate my son’s 18 year old birthday, because this is his favorite restaurant since he was 5. The food was great as always. The service was very fast. Our server was very attentive. I am gluten-free. I was able to get both my appetizer and entrée made gluten-free for me. My wife had the basil chicken non-spicy. She really enjoyed it. My son got his usual Chi Thai combination With fried rice. My daughter had a tofu pad Thai. They were all delicious. We are very happy with my son’s birthday celebration and I am glad we went to Chi Thai. This family restaurant has been our go to for decades.

This is my to go restaurant for more than 10 years and I have been the loyal customer. This used to be my favorite Asian Thai restaurant in the city and I recommends this place to many friends and colleagues. But today, I have been very very disappointed with the food quality and food taste. The food taste was bas and low quality. The vegetable spring roll taste very bad. I request for medium spicy on sea food fried rice and they made it quite spicy with lots of red flake chilies pepper. The pad Thai was not good either and only decent food was chicken lo mein. On top of this food disappointment, they tried to charge tips for 6 people but we were only four. It seems that was the cheat. I would not have mind paying tips if the food was good. I told about the food taste & quality to the server but was not taken any action. I had the bad food experience today and never expected from this restaurant. Likely restaurant cook got changed or something is different now. I will not go to this restaurant if they don’t bring the the same food quality like before. ☹️
