The food was tasty, elegant and great.
But for me, it was a bit too much on the toppings. The entrée and dessert had too many crumbs on top, which was a bit too much and disturbing. (for me)
And they made you full.
The fish soup had a salami inside, and I thought that was quite an interesting mix.
But the main course was fantastic! Everything was perfect. The Angus steak was really delicious.
The desert..the things on top were a bit too much. The chocolate sauce was so heavy.
But the French course for €48 was so reasonable and impressive.

One staff member was not so friendly but the other ones were quite good, hospitable and friendly.
You’ll need to make a reservation. The place was full at dinner time.

The place was quite small. Not much space.
Friendly to kids & dogs.

Perfect choice for my birthday dinner. Enjoyed an amazing Lièvre à la Royale with a great pairing of entrées and desserts. Service was impeccable and atmosphere was great. Will be visiting them regularly as the menu changes.

It was an incredible experience, the portions were quite large, and the price was very reasonable for what we experienced. We also had no communication problems. The waiters and staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. We especially loved the Angus and the cheesecake. It’s definitely a must-see when in Paris. And if you’re lucky, you might even see their cat, who was so sweet. P.S. I hope the cat is back

such a beautiful meal, the fish soup was one of the best things i’ve ever tasted, and the puddings were all delightful – the service was amazing, everyone was so friendly, and the price is quite reasonable considering the quality of food you are getting:)

Superb restaurant experience and an even greater value (considering the humble pricing). I’ve been pleasantly surprised with each of my visit here. The menu keeps changing with the seasons but the strength and quality of flavors persist. The chef manages to keep things fresh and interesting while staying true to French cuisine. Also excellent service experience as every server I’ve encountered there is knowledgable, has great interpersonal skills, and has no qualms about interacting in English. Cannot recommend enough! Reservations recommended

Quick stopby last week, the team is very friendly. Super delicious food especially the seafood plates. Japanese Chef is so kind. Unfortunately very short by the glass wine list and those are such simple regional wines they serve. The wine selection should be better. I include it in good section so I put 3 stars for food, otherwise the food itself deserves at least 4 stars but such food deserves better wine selection. All in all, I can go there again.

I was expecting great things here but felt disappointed by the meal delivered. We all went for the €48 set with the sadly often present supplement for many of the choices off the main dish.
The fish soup to start was great but my main was Guinea Fowl in a cabbage, leak and chestnut creamy sauce. The whole dish lacked flavour sadly and the bird was raw near the bone. Dessert was described as a lemon creme with white creme/cheese foam on top. Not enough lemony sauce and way too much of the piped white topping.

Knowing this decent French restaurant by a friend’s recommendation and the visit was totally amazing!

It only offers set menu where you can choose entree + main + dessert at dinner time for a basic 42 euro price. It might goes up if special dishes are chosen.

My friends and I tried the fish soup and crab salad as entrees. The soup was first came up with a plate of dry meats, salamis, and cheese; then the soup was gently poured into the soup plate. You can taste the rich flavor of the soup and savory added by the ingredients. The crab salad was served with sliced green apples on top to lighten the taste. I’m not sure the what the jelly-like thing between the salas and apple was but it felt like terrine made by chicken broth. I was impressed by the concept of salad

We then had pigeon, fish, and risotto. I was not quite used to the smell of pigeon but i still considered it as a good first try. My friends loved it very much. The fish was tender and well cooked. The roasted potatoes were all soaked in the sauce and oil. The asparagus on the risotto sparked this main dish!

Although we were so full after the main courses, we still couldn’t resist the charms of French dessert.

I really enjoyed this dinner in Paris cause you can see Chez Michel served extraordinary foods with seriousness and care, and their staff brought us joy with their hospitality and cheerful attitudes.

My best meal in Paris so far on this trip! Don’t miss the Magret de Canard and Clafoutis de Cerises when in season. Service was prompt and attentive.
