Cozy brasserie right in the Mailbox. Service was fenomenal. We were running late due to traffic and they accomodate us without issues. Atmosphere is cozy and relax, we had lunch relatively late and they were also serving afternoon tea. Drink selection is good, with lots to choose from, we went for a natural orange wine as we were feeling like trying something out of the common sauvignons and pinots, wine was good indeed but quite different to others I tried before. Food was good my partnet had cod and was well cooked and flaky, I had steak and it was cooked well. Starters were somehow average, the queene scallops felt dry, maybe a little bit of sauce under the crumb will be nice, chicken terrine was the best. Crab tacos didn’t have too much flavour but were okey as a light bite. Desserts could improve, the texrure of the cremeux was somehow grainy as it was splitted, the flavour was good but the texture was off. Gingerbread cream brulee was the best, rich and creamy not overly sweet. Apple trifle was a deception, cooked cinnamon apples served cold didn’t felt right, maybe using fresh fruit instead would have been better. Overall a good experience, food was correct and service was excellent, thanks.

Me and my partner had dinner. Bismark was our waiter he provided us a fantastic service. Just wanted to thank him for looking after us. He even remembere that is was our anniversary even though we slightly mention it. Thank you Bismark .

Excellent, servers are amazing. Used using my stay at Malmaison Hotel for breakfast and cocktails. Very good service, everyone was so polite. £8 cocktails during happy hour. Both cosmopolitan & mojito were on point. Breakfast choice was very varied and the cooked vegetarian breakfast yummy.

Tom my wife for afternoon tea here, it was lovely.

I came for a private meeting event and upon arrival I was greeted by a lovely staff member who asked for my coat and asked if I wanted to keep my bag somewhere. The food was great and we had water, with a mixture of bottles of wine which was a nice touch. Everyone was really lovely and helpful on the day. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Loved our dining experience but there were a few things that could have been better;
• husbands steak was ordered medium rare…but came medium…it might have been sat waiting and thus wasn’t what it could have been – was delicious nonetheless
• peppercorn sauce was sweet! I’m used to deep rich flavours and this was overshadowed by sweetness
• mac n cheese lacked flavour even with the cheese topping. I didn’t know this could even be the case for a classics staple like mac n cheese. We barely touched it.
• drinks orders were slow due to the bar staff being busy wuth cocktail week. We managed to get two drinks each the entire meal.
The restaurant staff themselves were fantastic and as helpful as they could be.
Loved their take on the cob salad. I had it with buffalo wings.
I ordered fried pickles expecting only fried sliced gherkins but they were actually fried various pickled veggies which was fun.
Overall I would return and be mindful of business etc and try get double drinks and clear feedback on food there and then

Visited Malmaison on 16th January 2025 with a friend to have the Classic Mal Afternoon Tea advertised via Wowcher.
Presentation of the food was on point however, the food was not the best. All hot dishes came out cold – as if it food had been sat there waiting.
We had to ask to have fresh hot chocolate as it came out lukewarm. Pot of tea was the same!
The best thing about the experience was the hospitality of one the waiters – I think he may be from Indonesia. His personality is infectious! He was great and made us feel so welcome!
I would not return or recommend.

Service was amazing and waiters were very accommodating to our preference. The hake and trout were delicious !! Don’t recommend the aubergine or prawn linguine unfortunately but other mains and desserts were very good!
