A Timeless Classic – Chez Charles Zahlé
Chez Charles has been part of my life since childhood, and coming back after four years away brought back a wave of nostalgia. Remarkably, nothing has changed — and that’s exactly what makes it special. The consistency in taste, ambiance, and service is rare to find these days.
On this visit, we had the grenouilles, the signature steak with a variety of sauces, and of course, the moules — all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The food speaks of tradition and care, just like it always has.
It’s more than a meal; it’s a return to a memory — and I’m glad to say the magic is still intact.

This place is a must if you’re willing to experience fine-dining in a super cozy space in the midst of Zahle.
Service is fast and staff are friendly.
The food is very delicious. The Tournedos Champignons Grillade is a must try! We also tried the Rocca and Parmesan Salad, and another Salad featured in the following pics. The in-house Chez Charles wine is exquisite!! Chapeau!

Chez Charles in Zahlé is such a nice little bistro! They serve some of the best steaks and octopus I’ve had, along with other really tasty seafood dishes. The pizzas and salads are also super fresh and delicious. Cozy spot, great food, and definitely worth visiting!
