Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through on my way back home. It was after the lunch rush and the dining room was almost empty except for a guy at the counter. The server was polite and friendly. She did however ask me what I didn’t want on my salad and then brought it to me anyway.
I ordered their special that was a 8” one topping pie, side salad, and a drink. Excellent price point at $6.99.
The pizza was nice to look at however it was quite a different story for taste and construction. The crust was great however there was not enough balance of sauce so it felt dry. Compounding the issue was the severe over cheesing. It left each bite thick and rubbery. There was nice topping distribution and quantity although the food cost is probably higher than it should be.
Maybe I just came at that in between time from when the lunch crew tapers off and before the dinner crew gets there. Either way I will probably try it again because even bad pizza is better than 90% of the restaurants Gray has to offer.

Found this Gem the other day while doing some work around Gray. Very friendly staff, prices were very reasonable. Locally owned and very family oriented. The food was amazing and we didn’t have to wait long at all. I cannot wait to pass through Gray again so I can try something else off the menu.

Stopped at Chevys for lunch one weekday. Service was good, not too crowded. Pizza was ok and sandwich was ok. Nicely decorated place. Will stop by again if in the area. Keep up the good work.

Tareesa (may be spelled wrong) was our waitress and did an absolutely great job. Food was amazing and got what I paid for with no doubt. The restaurant is nicely set up and organized. 10/10 recommend

Very good pizza! Honestly one of the best takes on a NY pizzeria in the south. The problem is i know I was very under charged. I came in there today wanting a half Greek salad a calzone and 12 wings. My duo wanted their special an 8 inch pizza and a salad with chicken added. The food was good and the portions where huge and I only paid 40 dollars. Your mom is way too nice. I was totally expecting to pay 80 dollars in a full service restaurant like this one. I guess my only critique is please charge more. And don’t let mom cut things off the tab. I love supporting small businesses I have one myself and know what it takes to get to where your at. Congratulations on serving a product that’s high quality! I will be back.
