I really hate to give this review as I have always loved Chet & Matt’s, and the excellent service and great atmosphere haven’t changed. That said, ever since the change of ownership (and maybe even a little before) the food quality has drastically declined. I used to happily, borderline-ravenously consume whole large pizzas regardless of how my stomach felt after because they were just that good. Tonight I couldn’t bring myself to polish off the remaining large I shared with a few others.

Our family stopped in Saturday evening and we not only enjoyed amazing food but probably the BEST service eating out. Both of the servers on the floor paid special attention to our son for his birthday weekend and went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. I wish we lived closer as we would totally become regulars! The pizza was delicious, the Italian sub filled my husband up, and the cinnamon pizza was delish!

Our team and families (26) came down from Ontario and I was looking for a place where we would be able to order off the menu with bills matching the player and family members. Thankfully Chet and Matts do this! From booking on the phone to the service at the restaurant they did not disappoint. They know how to handle teams right. Everyone had nothing but great reviews. I went with the Reuben pizza special they had for St Patrick’s day week. Soooo good. My wife and daughter had two other types and all had great taste and ingredients. I will be trying the Calzone next time we are there! It looked great too. Looking forward to our next trip down to Sandusky. Thanks again.

My family vacationed at Cedar Point for 5 nights and the day we went home we were hungry so we stopped here. We all got the buffet and had a to go order and it wasn’t expensive at all! The food was great and the employees were really nice! We live a little over an hour away but I don’t care. We’ll be back. Thanks for the great service and great pizza!

Stopped in for lunch. The pizza is good. Service was good and the place has a full bar with a nice beer selection. A very good place for kids and adults. We were not disappointed.

Cheesy breadsticks were delicious. Brother had spaghetti and meatballs,garlic bread and a side salad. He really liked it very much and ate every bit of it. Also a Two Brother’s pizza and a9 inch with pepperoni,sausage and green olives. Everything was very fresh and great. This was our first time @ your restaurant and we will surely be back. Very friendly staff and the atmosphere was amazing.

We came here during our latest trip to sandusky, the overall experience was good the food is great. Although when we went, the buffet was hardly stocked, and we had to wait for food to come out. That was most likely due to it being early in the afternoon on a weekday. When the food was brought out, it was promptly snatched up by restaurant goers. Overall the food was great. The service on the other hand was slightly lacking as we waited quite some time for refills or the buffet to be stocked.
