The food and service was great. The bathrooms could use some attention. They were that clean. The soap bottle seemed a little “dry” when I used it so it made me a little weary about when someone used soap last to wash their hands.

Very good creamy potato soup. I had the hot roast beef with mashed potatoes. Beef was very tasty but as is typical for most restaurants, too much gravy. The breaded pork cutlets were predictable. The hash browns were the star on the plate… perfectly crispy. Very good service.

Been going here over 30 years. I’ll never be back. Last few times I’ve been here the food has been very poor and over priced. Had a burger yesterday that was awful. My father got the hot turkey and it was terrible as well with dry burnt ends. I ate a few bites and the waiter asked how it was. I said terrible. Oh well, here’s your bill. Should have just walked out.

Best Lemon meringue pie anywhere! The vegetable soup is homemade and delicious. We also had the breakfast plate. And the portions were enormous. Best of all, the Owner and Staff are friendly and kind. You’ll feel right at home here at Chestnut Inn.
