A local “watering hole” is a perfect statement for Chester Tavern. The atmosphere inside is always cozy and lively during the winter months and during the summer season, its fun and relaxing. The food is always good with a nice variety on the weekends with the chefs choices. The staff is always super friendly and never seem overwhelmed, even when its super busy. With everything going up, they have stayed consistent with their prices and quality. A gem in Geauga County!

I ordered the steak. ($22) It was well seasoned, and that’s about it. The piece of meat had a lot of tough spots. The piece was pretty small as well. The mashed potatoes were good. The green beans were undercooked. The other food that was ordered was better than the steak. The dessert was tasty, and I would recommend it. I did notice on my bill that I had a surcharge for using a CC. I felt food was overpriced and was not happy that I had to pay an additional fee to cover the fee for using a CC. Food quality vs. Service – Im not sure that it is worth the price.

First time ever going there, I ordered takeout on a Friday night. Fully expected it to be super crazy busy it was pretty steady. I got my food very quickly. The bartenders were very kind. Food was delicious & I will definitely be back to enjoy! Prices aren’t bad at all either!

We went there on Saturday evening and the parking lot was almost full but we were seated quickly. There were only outdoor patio seating and not inside. We ordered Drinks, Texas Onion Petals, Louisiana Shrimp Linguini with side salad, and Honey Garlic Salmon. A glass of wine was a generous amount, the side salad was big, Shrimp Linguini was good and not as spicy as I thought, but Salmon was a bit too sweet. Overall the food and service were good!

This place was GREAT! Some of the best food options for me! My mom and I tried the fried zucchini for an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious! The ranch to dip in was also yummy as well! I ordered the baked mac n cheese and I can definitely say it was one of the best i’ve ever had. If I lived closer I would be there all the time. The outdoor patio was very nice and very cute. The staff was wonderful and lively and made the dining experience even better. There also was a cat roaming around outside and it was just the cutest thing. Loved it here, wish I could come more often.

Grouper (fish) wrap was perfect for a lighter dinner. I stopped next door for an ice cream and enjoyed the outdoor music, so I headed over for dinner at Chesterland. Seems like they could have had one more server given popularity for the band. Right idea, just a little slow service.

When we got there the hostess young boy. Could not be any ruder if he tried. We asked for a booth near the bar “he sighed and rolled his eyes”. Waitress was decent, pretty pushy about constantly ordering drinks. The burger I got was good but the amount of fries that came with it was a complete joke. Prolly about 15. That is another reason this restaurant is only getting a 3/5. Might come back when the patio is open but the kid that is a hostess needs some training and come on with the portions
