It’s ok . Some people say it’s the best , it is good for the price and place . Appetizers and pizza came at the same time… I was under impression the appetizers should come before the meal . I had garlic bread, didn’t dealt any garlic in it, but cheese was good. Pizza is thin crust and not much sauce in it and for me it’s a win!
Service is good. Had to sit for a while before I could order, and had to go get box to go on my own , which is no problem, just when we talk about service it’s a “-“ .

Brother and I decided to go have the pizza buffet at the Cheshire Market today. It’s unassuming pizza place in the back of a combination convenience store and bait shop. They have a lengthy cold table with everything you need for a great salad and more. The ranch dressing was delicious. On to the real deal, the pizza. They put around 4 pizzas out at a time. Lots of variety while we were there. I had a pepperoni/mushroom/onion first. This was on a pizza dough that was perfectly cooked. Not crispy but still had structure to it. The sauce had a smooth taste to it. Not real spicy. The cheese was nice and creamy which was cooked to have the slightest browning to it. It was perfect. Also tried a pepperoni/onion slice and a plain cheese. Also a pepperoni/mushroom/onion slice. Several other. The waitress that was taking orders, running the bar and clearing tables was rocking it. They had 3 people running the kitchen in back. Very little wait time between changing out pizzas. Overall it was a great experience. For sure I will return. A hidden gem on the corner of Africa Rd/Cheshire Rd. Don’t miss on this place.

I came here because I had read an article calling this the best pizza in Ohio. What I found did not disappoint. The crust was amazing, and the pepperoni was great. The real standout, though, was the spicy sauce. The sauce had a nice tangy taste to it that was great on its own, and even better on the pizza. Our server was incredibly friendly and personable, and was eager to tell us about the pizza and all their offerings.
A couple of notes that I haven’t seen on Google about operations. Although the market itself is open at 6am, they generally do not start serving pizza until around 10:30. They also have an all you can eat buffet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from open to close (lunch and dinner). Tuesdays are spaghetti and salad, and Thursdays are pizza.

A solid pizza. I’ve been eating here for over a decade when camping. The pizza did used to be better but it’s still really good. It can be slightly on the greasy side but that’s my only complaint. I would not recommend dinning in though, I’d rather eat in my car. This is a one stop shop for all your miscellaneous camping needs.

This is right around the corner from my house and we order pizza at least once a month. The pizza is delicious, always fresh, hot and just the right amount of spice in the sauce. The market is nice to be able to grab little things here and there (think bait and tackle or camping type store). Great food, highly recommend.

Im not surprised it’s hard to find really good pizza in central ohio sauce was tastless dough undercooked the pepperoni tasteless. Looks like another trip to Youngstown ohio for really great pizza. My niece owns a tavern in the ytown area and her pizza is better than any pizza so far in central ohio

Showed up a little before eleven and had a great breakfast sandwich ( they serve breakfast sandwiches until 1pm), the coffee was nice and strong. Plenty of seating available with nice clean bathrooms. The baitshop had every thing I was looking for and was very well organized with very friendly staffing.

We were on a family camping trip at Alum Creek and decided to order from Cheshire Market as we usually do. This time we switched to Saturday instead of Friday, since Fridays are typically so busy.
We placed a large order — 4 pizzas, wings, and 4 subs. The subs were very good and the wings were fine, but unfortunately the pizzas were extremely disappointing. The dough was way undercooked, which really ruined the experience.
We’ve enjoyed Cheshire Market in the past, but this time the pizza quality was not acceptable. Hoping this was just an off night.
