Well first of all this is mine and my friends opinion, I see others have liked it. My friend ordered a tuna melt sandwich and it came with fries and a small container of coleslaw and a coffee. Her tuna salad had no mayonnaise or celery, she said like they took a can of tuna a plopped it on the bread. It was topped with she thought provolone cheese and tomato slices. Her fries looked plain and not appetizing. I ordered the 1 trip to the salad bar and chicken noodle soup and a half unsweetened tea with raspberry. The salad bar veggies were ok..but had a slight unusual taste to them. The looked like homemade potatoes salad wasn’t cooked all the way, potatoes, the beets were crunchy and not cooked all the way, the coleslaw good and creamy, macaroni salad tasted like store bought…yuck. My soup had such a strong taste to it …not like poultry or rosemary, thyme flavor but more like oregano and a hint of sweetness to it! I couldn’t eat it. My friend tried it and also remarked about the strong taste. My tea was watered down and for just under $3 Not worth it! Her coffee was really strong she said. So our bill was $35 for 2 bad meals. Take your chances. Looks like the breakfast dishes are the better choice….but I’m not chancing it!

This is a place for people who want to eat really good food, for very reasonable prices. Quantities are always generous.
The chicken quesadillas are more to our tastes than the steak version. Many of the cooks are Mexican & do an excellent job on Mexican cuisine.
The soup of the day is always good. The salad bar has an excellent choice & is very fresh.
The ground beef soup is big & like a rich heavy stew. The chicken pasta soup is thick & tasty.
The eggplant parmigiana is excellent–for eggplant lovers, not to be missed!
Friday is a good day for dinner specials. Which usually start at 3:00 PM. We had the Orange Roughy. A meaty mild & flaky fish. See the photo with bowls of very fresh corn, broccoli & rice pilaf. The special comes with two sides & either soup or salad bar. The orange Roughy was excellent & we will definitely order it again. Daily specials change daily. Special items just in will be on the chalkboard.

First time here. Super big menu qith a great variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner entrees with reasonable prices, a rare thing. Generous portions including huge pancakes. Salad bar on the smaller side but very fresh and well maintained. Friendly, albeit somewhat slow service. Recommended!

Wow! First time here and completely unplanned as our initial place was closed. Totally glad we came here. Pretty standard diner/breakfast selection so I was not expecting to be impressed. Our waitress was very attentive and prompt. Our food came out quickly and the portions were bigger than expected. The taste, oh man the taste. Everyone LOVED their meals. Plates were cleaned except a few potatoes. The sausage gravy was hearty but still somehow airy. The bacon on the sandwiches was cooked to perfection. The biscuits were perfect, not crumbly or super dense – just right. The French toast wasn’t super thick or too thin, tasted great. The home fries were fried with just the right amount of crisp, add a little Tabasco and bam – perfect. Pro tip, add some black pepper to the sausage gravy to taste and you’re set. Definitely worth the stop!

The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because of the lady at register got a serious attitude with me when I mentioned that I was not willing to pay the surcharge from using a credit card that they wanted the consumer to pay. She stated that she was not in the mood to argue and she wasn’t in the authority to make decisions. She then slammed the receipt and pen on the counter. On the way out the door I told her to have a good blessed day and she grunted very loudly. As a consumer I know we do not have to pay the merchants credit card fee. The server deserves a better tip. The lady at the front needs to learn how to handle small situations better. Never once did I give her an attitude nor was I rude

This is a diner. Plain and simple. But as diners go it is one of the best. The staff is excellent! The waiters and waitresses exceptional. Today, it was breakfast. Our table ordering a variety of ways to have eggs: over-medium, runny (over-easy), sunny side up, and all delivered flawlessly. Home fries with onions, toast and muffins covered with butter (the way all bread should be). Yes it’s just a diner, but it’s a diner that delivers putting the customer first. It’s why we always come back.

The atmosphere is amazing, I love the decor in the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly. Our table was dirty but someone came over and quickly cleaned it. I had steak, crab cake and mixed veggies. I was underwhelmed by the steak and veggies. The food was not very flavorful but the presentation was beautiful. I would come back and try the breakfast. I do wish they had more options on the salad bar. More veggies would be great.

FULLY disappointed…waitress continued to cut us off as we were trying to order…then ordered a cheesesteak with bacon which is shown and labeled in picture and when the check comes I was charged extra 2.99 for the bacon which per the picture it came on it. I go in every other week on Friday night and get 2 quarts of the cream of crab soup …and tell EVERYONE about their food…well not anymore ….I know its only $2.99 its the point….dont rip me off… again disappointed watch your bill when it comes.

Excellent food in a nice comfortable atmosphere. The lunch menu has something for everyone and the entree includes soup or a trip to the salad bar. The food is good and the service was great. Joan our waitress waited on us with enthusiasm. The ambiance is of the seafarers gathering place and a locals favorite.
