I just met the BBQ Chicken potato from Cheryl’s Potato Kitchen… and I’m not the same person I was before the first bite.
This thing is slap-ya-Mama good…perfectly seasoned, loaded with tender chicken, drenched in the most unique sweet-smoky BBQ sauce, and buried under melty cheese like it knows it’s about to change lives. I took one bite and immediately started planning my next visit before I even finished chewing.
And the owners? Absolute sweethearts. The kind of people who make the food taste even better just by being so kind.
10/10. No notes. Just bring me another potato and mind your business while I inhale it.

I really loved the OG potato. The only thing I think was the problem for me was I ordered and sit down to eat. This nice girl bought me my food and got me my drink. Then I sit there eating, nobody ever came back out to check on me see if I needed anything else to drink or anything. A lady came over gave me a togo box , later I my drink got empty and I never seen anyone. Finally the man walked out to take an order for someone that had came in but still nobody came over to check on me. Finally I seen him wiping down other tables near me and I asked could I get more tea. He brought me more an walked away. It’s like a ghost town in there. Hard to get waited on. If I come back I think I will order togo. Food good but the service inside could be better.

Tesla supercharger brought us here. It being the only option we gave it a try and most of it was good. Not the healthiest thing there is but the boats where good. The pulled pork sandwich not so much. Restrooms were not very clean and the place looked like it was under construction. Food also took a long time to get to the table and did not arrival all together. Overall I would come back because the boats where good and there was some level of honesty there that we liked.

This was my first time stopping in and I must say I will definitely be back. As a foodie I’m always looking out for authentic places that prepare their food with love and give special care to detail. Cheryl’s did not disappoint. I asked the lovely lady in the store (I assume Ms Cheryl) what was her favorite and she told me flat out “All of it!!” and when you put your heart into something it’s hard to answer with anything less and after tasting the Philly Cheesesteak Potato boat I’m a true believer!
When I tell you the portion sizes are worth the price I mean you will probably not be able to finish the plate in one sit. This potato was absolutely loaded with tender steak, cheese, butter, peppers, onions and mushrooms…I had to dig for the actual potato and I mean that as a compliment. Everything is cooked fresh to order so expect to wait a little while but trust and believe it’s well worth the wait. I also recommend the lemon pepper wings but I’ll be trying all the flavors just as soon as I can get back…AND I WILL BE BACK.

One potato size is huge . Very delicious unfortunately we were able to buy only one because they were out of potatoes, soup or anything except chicken strips at 7:30. Philly potato was really good and the portion is huge. You can play table games if you are traveling with a family, while you are waiting.

The Philly potato was awesome. I couldn’t eat it all it was so big. The Parmesan wings were good too. I only gave a two on atmosphere because all orders had to be to go because they were short staffed. It was nice and clean inside from what I could see.

Hidden gem at a truck stop! The BEST baked potato I’ve ever had. I got the “All In” and everything was perfect. Crispy bacon, tender steak, clean shrimp, tender chicken, sauteed onions, peppers, & mushrooms all smothered in cheese. Food is fresh, cooked to order, very filling, and this place is right off the highway. If you’re traveling, stop by and enjoy. You won’t regret it!

This otherwise hidden gem is well worth the time. Having stopped to charge we looked both longingly and with skepticism at this gas station restaurant. We took the plunge and are glad we did.
We got two huge potatoes, hot, fresh, and loaded with quality toppings. They did not skimp on anything and everything was fresh and hot.
Most gas station stops are high risk low reward. This one is high reward and we will make this a regular stop in our travels.

MAN THIS PLACE WAS PHENOMENAL!! The staff was amazing. The chef comes out to talk. Tea was sweet! We had the chicken and broccoli with cheese and it was so good. Chicken was JUICY and the broccoli was cooked so well!! We shall be back! ❤️
