New to neighborhood and first time here. Sat night and very busy. Music kicking. Looking forward to the Philly Steak Egg Rolls. Nice vibe and amazed I got a seat at the bar. lucky me. Def want to try brunch here. Nice menu selection. I’ll be back for sure as just two blocks away near the park. P.S. egg rolls were yummie.

I’ve been to this spot twice now, and unfortunately, it’s been a hit or miss each time. The Oxtail Rasta Pasta had potential, but it was way too salty to really enjoy. The food quality is inconsistent, which is disappointing, especially when you’re expecting something great.
On top of that, the service could use some improvement. The waitress always seems to have an attitude whenever there’s a complaint, and it’s clear she struggles with handling larger parties. This was the same experience both times I visited, and it definitely took away from the overall vibe. I’d love to see some improvements here, but I’m not sure if I’ll be coming back again.

Cherry Lounge Restaurant is a hidden gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming and laid-back with great music and a cozy atmosphere. The food was incredible — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. I tried the mac and cheese, and every bite was top tier. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to — perfect for a chill night out or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience! Don’t believe the hype. This place is more like a mini club than a restaurant. We made reservations, but there was no one at the door to greet us. After waiting 25 minutes, a bartender finally seated us.
My chicken and waffles were a disappointment – dry, unseasoned wings and a dry waffle. My husband’s lamb with rasta pasta was better, though.
The ambiance is loud and club-like, making conversation impossible. The bathroom was disgusting, and the staff didn’t care when we brought it to his attention. The back area smells like smoke from the hookah and weed. Service was slow, and our waitress seemed too busy to check on us.
Also, they charged us gratuity upfront, even though we were a party of two. Not impressed. Wouldn’t recommend this spot.
