After moving to the area, we have been on the hunt for a good chinese and we have finally found one! Amazing vegetarian/vegan options that really impressed us. Usually most takeaways only offer basic vegetable dishes but we were really spoilt for choice here, we will absolutely be ordering again to try some of their other dishes!

This is our weekly takeaway spot but the last two times we have been extremely disappointed. Two hour wait times minimum, tough/ chewy chicken and crunchy chow mein. Will be going back to Peking or Hong Kong chef. Such a shame because at its best this place can be amazing but not sure what’s happened.

Waited 2.5 hours for our food. Rang 3 times, kept saying it’s coming. Finally rang to stop them delivering it as it was too late to eat (9:30pm!!) said it’s already on its way. After a lot of back and forth and being told they could only give us a bottle of coke next time we order (we won’t be!) we managed to get some money off. Shame as the food is always good there.

We ordered a meal for eight of us and the food was very tasty. The lemon chicken and the prawn balls were both good, as well as a the pork chow mien. The disappointing part was they forgot one of our dishes (chicken satay) which we only discovered when we got home. Should have checked when collecting the food.

The best chinese takeaway in Bath hands down. Excellent customer service and food! Make sure to order in person for quick. Salt and chilli chips are amazing, would recommend. Love you Cheong Sing! ❤️❤️

Awful timing, ordered from UberEats and it took 2 hours to arrive and they’re only 1.5 miles from me, I would have walked If I’d known their delivery was so horrible.
Their line was almost always busy, and when I finally got through I was hung up on mid conversation.
Food was still warm when it got to me. Really good big portions and tastes decent.

I like that this place has good, labelled vegan options. However I ordered last night and the order took 3 hours to arrive! And when it did, there was chicken fried rice instead of the plain rice I ordered! They also ignored my note, which clearly said “no prawn crackers”. I’m vegan and I don’t want to receive animal products!
Please refuse orders if you are too busy to fulfil them in reasonable time. Please ensure order notes are respected, and take care to give people the correct items.
By the way, oyster sauce is not vegetarian. Please amend your menu to reflect this.

We love you cheong sing. Open late enough to cater for our night work hours and delicious and fresh veggies w bite, something rare in a late night eatery. Always delicious despite massive menu. Thanks for all the dinners
