I’ve been going to Chen’s for many years. They’ve always had subpar (sometimes rude) customer service, but the reasonable prices and decent food kept me coming back. However, today I placed an order online that was just over the $25 limit to receive a free item. They called me shortly after and asked if I would like to change my order because they ran out of something. No big deal, it happens.
When I went to pick up my food I was told that they did NOT include my free item because the price dropped below $25 after my substitution for what they didn’t have. I was obviously frustrated and explained my frustration but they just keep asking if I wanted to buy the item that should have been free.
In the end, I left without the entree I wanted in the first place, and without my free item. I was shocked they would risk losing a long time customer and receiving this bad review over $1, but they did. I’m disappointed and will not be going back.

I like Chen’s. They are quick and the food is okay. I go here for the convenience of the location. The staff seems nice from my few interactions however, the atmosphere is very busy. Its not bad but I prefer dine in.

Ordered the 5 and 10 piece Crab Rangoon. Took a bite in the car only to discover the shape & taste were far from expected. Called back immediately and asked for the manager. Younger woman told me she was the only one that could help me with this order and that her name was Jesus. I’m pretty sure me and Jesus know what a Ctab Rangoon is and what they selling ain’t it.

The cheese ragoons were THE BEST I’ve ever had! The Kung Pow chicken was ok, not that spicy and kinda bland I think their other chicken would’ve been better. The people were so sweet there and the lady even advised me that their fridge was broken holding the sodas but she had some on ice and let me choose. She was very sweet!

The food is just great, it has more depth than other Asian food places, you can taste the individual ingredients coming together. Very fresh too.
The online ordering was not so good. You can place an order for delivery on the site with a credit card, thinking it will be paid for on delivery- but it’s not. The person delivering seem to have no idea what was going on. Luckily I was able to charge it right there but the man didn’t exactly make it easy with poor communication. I recommend pick up.

Pleasant staff, quick service, good food. Went to Chen’s Garden to get take out and did not have to wait very long. Restaurant was not very clean, but is mostly for take out, with only two tables. I got the sweet and sour chicken, vegetable egg roll, and cheese wanton, which was delicious!

I ordered orange chicken. I took a bite and thought this consistency is weird and doesn’t taste like chicken. I took a piece and cut it apart and looked at it. It definitely wasn’t chicken. The best way I can describe is it looks like baked potato and has the consistency of it. I am totally grossed out, God only knows what they are serving but it was DISGUSTING. DO NOT ORDER HERE.
