So we come from Houston, tx and have had access to places like little asia. Places with amazing dim sum, korean bbq, Hotspot, absolutely huge buffets, and many other amazing restaurants. This place despite the reviews was very decent. The crab rangoons had the true slightly sweet filling, however I do not think the oil was hot enough to fry them but we did come at exactly opening time. The general tso chicken was really good, overall it was a good experience. Good fortune does some things better and chens does some better. I would say do not completely trust the reviews that are one stat and give this place a try.

The foods are good especially crab legs and sushi they look fresh. This place is my favorite buffet now. It’s reasonable price and I will definitely go back again soon.

Listen, you just aren’t a true north sider if you don’t try this place everytime it changes names and owners. Chen’s is the best yet. I came in by myself at 1pm. Had 2 plates filled with a variety of food and a bowl of soup. I always grade buffets on a curve but this blew me out of the water. I tried at least 4 flavored chicken dishes and the sweet and sour chicken. All properly sauced and prepared. The lo mein was phenomenal and the best of nearly any place in town, and definitely the best by far I’ve had at a buffet. My servers were hard at work but also seemed to enjoy themselves. I work in the service industry professionally and I have to say this experience left me highly impressed. I will not only be back, but will spread the word as well.

At first I was really excited at all the options. Come to figure out myself that everything had a fishy aftertaste. The plates also weren’t clean. Remnants of past food was stuck on there? Idk what that was about. Also the cups smelled like bleach and tasted like oil, but at least the staff was nice

I enjoyed all the food I had, the sushi was very good, hot and sour soup was one of the best I’ve had, everything was tasty like it should be!! They sure know how to do it right! We were there on New Year’s Eve and will definitely be back in the near future!

First time back here since name change from China Buffet and outside face-lift. Food still great and staff very nice! You now have to pay up front before buffet which I totally am fine with. Apparently the area crime is rather high and they had many people eat, walk out and not pay. They didn’t have Asian meatballs which are usually great so we missed those. Also ice cream was gone. Over all a great Asian buffet and everything else we ate was perfect! Can’t wait to go back!!

Paid for the Buffett for my daughter to be told by waitress, she needs to take less food and basically she couldn’t get anymore food….. my kid always cleans her plates, she loves the crawfish and seafood items and rarely ever wastes… if we pay for an all you can eat, then let it be that. Not ration your food if you actually eat it

We ate here yesterday. (Party of 2) Very good food! Buffet was clean and staff was attentive and friendly. The only complaint would be the crab legs ran out quickly and I was not able to get any before we had to leave as we were on a schedule. I am sure there was more on the way! Everything was so tasty! We will be back!
