A must-visit if you love authentic South Indian food.

We tried their special Banana Leaf Thali yesterday, and it was absolutely worth it. The spread was massive—over 25 items served fresh on a traditional banana leaf, with unlimited refills. Every dish tasted authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care.

It was more than one person can eat. At just $19, the value is crazy for the quality and variety you get.

We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. Although it was not busy, we faced repeated delays and had to remind the staff multiple times about our order. There was a long wait for the appetizers, and the main course and naan were served at different times, which caused the food to become cold. One of the dishes we ordered, hariyali paneer, was completely forgotten and never served. The water glasses were not properly clean, and proper cutlery was not provided during the meal. The food quality was not good. Overall, the service and management were unsatisfactory, making the experience frustrating and disappointing.

Visited week day, ordered veg biryani but looks and tastes like “simple” fried rice.. people came from different places to enjoy food not for disappointment. Take this as suggestion “ please change recipe of your veg biryani, not a single percent taste like it “

On Saturday lunch it was not busy
But when we seated the servers started serving
Good service and the servers were asking periodically asked us if we need anything
The food tasted great
The non veg thali has more options compare to veg thali
The buttermilk has no taste. Mutton curry was very good
I will visit the place again for sure

I went to Chennora for their banana leaf unlimited meals, and it was an amazing experience! They serve 22+ items, and everything I tried was absolutely fantastic. The goat curry, fish curry, and chicken salna were all outstanding. The sambar was thick and flavorful, the paratha was fresh and fluffy, and even the dosa was huge and delicious as part of the banana leaf meal.

The only area that could use improvement is the service. The servers didn’t seem to know the proper order of serving or how to manage refills. At first, I received about 2 main course items, and then I had to keep calling them to bring the rest and to get refills. If they can improve on that, the overall experience would be perfect.

Food-wise, it’s 100% worth it and highly recommended!

We try banana leaf veg thali which was not south authentic but it was okay. Lots of items were not warm . However couple of item was too good like pineapple keaar , rasam and lachha paratha. Lahara and other desert item (forgot the name – we use to called it sevanyia)

Our family recently had the pleasure of dining at an authentic South Indian restaurant, and the experience was truly memorable. We were seated to enjoy our meal on traditional banana leaves, which gave the whole dining experience an authentic touch. Daman and Auxii were constantly ensured that we were comfortable and that our plates were never empty. The food itself was delicious as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to savour authentic South Indian flavours with top-notch service!
