Today was my first time going to Chengdu Teahouse. I absolutely loved it! I loved the vibe of the store and the energy was so calm and cozy! Perfect for an afternoon of tea with a friend. I have already recommended the TeaHouse to two other friends! I will be back soon!

Great teahouse in Old Town. The owner is friendly and knowlegeable having lived in China over 20 years. Lots of great chairs to sit and chat with friends over tea. The tea set brought out is cute and as the ownwr admits it is about the experience. I liked the concept of a porcelain color changing animal on the tray that is there so that we are never drinking tea alone. A good message the western world sorely needs.

My time at Chengdu Teahouse was absolutely wonderful. The staff was was very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and happy to share insightful information about the tea, while also giving me the space for a quiet, private escape. The atmosphere was immaculate, with super cute decor and tea gifts and accessories that made it feel like the perfect little Chinese teahouse tucked away in Old Town. It was peaceful, authentic, and truly special.

This is a really cute and cozy place to hang out, drink and learn about tea. Elyse had many options of tea available to us and helped us microwaved-water-teabag folk figure out what we’ve been missing out on this whole time. We played a game of chess and relaxed for a very quick two hours. Looking forward to returning!
