The Bo Bo appetizer was fun! It didn’t really need the grill in the middle but was kind of cool to have. So much food! Everything we had was excellent. Salt and pepper calamari and shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce.
All tasted fresh, service was fast, and very intuitive. We will be back!

We took our nephew there for his birthday because he requested Chinese food. We ordered the orange chicken, crispy beef with fried rice and springrolls. Everything was fantastic! Fresh, authentic, and huge portions.The service was quick and attentive, our drinks never ran dry, and the best part was that the manager saw our nephew open up a gift and he brought out a surprise dish of green tea ice cream with a birthday candle in it on the house. We will definitely be going back often!

The food we ordered was just horrible. We ordered chicken lo mein ,shrimp lo mein and vegggie chow mein. We’ve got a containers filled with noodles where we could hardly see any chicken same with shrimps, couple disgusting looking shripms , overcooked, looked like they were 3 days old , just heated up and served to the customers . The worst chinese food that i ever tasted !!!

We love the general chicken there. We also recently tried some crispy honey chicken and some crispy szechuan beef. They were both awesome but we particularly loved the beef! The server was super sweet! The restaurant was nice and clean! We had gotten in just after the dinner rush so it was a nice, and calm experience! We always have a good experience here. 🙂

Several years ago, we had tried this place a few times, and finally gave up because everything was way too salty. Not sure why we decided to try one more time, but we visited last Friday, and everything was so much better! I started with an egg roll, since the crab Rangoon has onions in it, which I can’t tolerate. Too bad, since I love crab Rangoon. But the egg roll was excellent! I’m not sure what kind of meat was in there, but the cabbage was lovely, and the wrapper light. I had Sesame chicken, which was wonderful! I really enjoyed it, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. One of the best Chinese entrees I’ve had in a while. I hesitate to give 4 stars until we’ve been here several more times, but if they keep up the good work, I may change my rating.

This place is conveniently located within a commercial area and surrounded by retail stores. I went here with my wife for lunch on a weekend. I wasn’t expecting anything special from the food, just something tasty to fill our tummies. Lunch special prices were good, around $6.50 for a good helping. I had the orange chicken, and my wife had the lo mein. Both dishes were fine; nothing to rave about, but they tasted good and I think the food was worth the price. Had no problem with the service; staff was attentive and courteous. This place has quite a few negative reviews already, but I wouldn’t go as far as to forbid anyone from trying this place. I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic dinner date, but its convenient location and fair prices should be enough to give it a try — especially if you happen to be shopping in the area and need to “refuel”.

I really like Chen’s. The food is really good. The service is really good. I like the shrimp and scallop dish. We all love the pea pods – very tender and delicious. This is a gem of a restaurant that not many people take advantage of.

We ALWAYS order from Chen’s when we want Chinese takeout. By far and away the very best local Chinese food option in Lake in the Hills. Having tried nearly everything in the menu, I’ll say you simply can’t go wrong. My personal favorite is the Pad Thai. Usually order it with extra everything and they’re happy to deliver. Love this place!

First time I ordered food from there, since my parent’s are vegetarians, they made sure everything I ordered had no meat and not even eggs and not spicy at all. All the food that was made was exactly what I ordered and Taste really good. Will defiantly order from there next time, when I have taste for Chinese . Very clean . Good job.
