They have a three course option for $40 a person.
Tuesdays is a mini tasting day with smaller portions (tapas if you will)
Wine Wednesdays which is half off bottles of wine.
Thursdays is happy hour all day, which consists of $3 off small plates, $2 off specialty drinks, $1 off sides and more.
We took advantage of happy hour all day and to eat ordered bread service, the mussels and braised short ribs.
The bread services comes with a variety of bread choices, and three accompaniments; whipped butter, olive oil and olive tapenade.
The mussels are sautéed in a garlic, butter and shallot sauce which creamy and decadent. This broth is what makes you come back for more and is a perfect partner to the toasted crostini.
The braised short ribs were so tender and the polenta was creamy.
They have a variety of mocktails which were fancy looking and delicious.
The cocktails were FANTASTIC! I would STRONGLY recommend the Maple Cedar Old Fashioned. It was like smelling a campfire and tasting pancakes and syrup. So good!
Our server/bartender, Alex, was amazing and really made the experience.

Seating was cramped as we were shoved into tight quarters directly across the waiters station where the runners stand when food is brought from the kitchen. It took almost an hour to merely get our drinks.
Being a holiday the menu was limited and “forced”, which I fully anticipated. But at $90 per person I expected at least HOT food. The shrimp cocktail was overcooked, small shrimp. Disappointing. Our first course was the chopped salad and French onion soup. The salad was good. The soup was not soup at all. I was served lukewarm, reduced onions with a small piece of cheese not melted, and a slice of crusty bread. There was no broth and within too bites, was cold. I couldn’t eat it. Our entrees consisted of scallops and risotto and surf and turf. Apparently they haven’t addressed previous complaints made about the scallops and risotto because my husband was served three small scallops with risotto you could use as spackle. My steak and lobster were again, lukewarm at best. The lobster tail was overcooked and without having any drawn butter, went cold before I could finish it. By the time we were offered dessert, we were told they had run out (of the only dessert item on the menu) but were offered Boston Cream Pie or Strawberry swirl cheesecake. We split a piece of pie and took the cheesecake to go, because it was now 9:30 (we have now been here for three hours). The alternative desserts were obviously NOT made in house and for the price, was very disappointing. We threw the rubbery cheesecake away!
But the worst part, when our bill arrived a 23% gratuity was automatically added to our total! Without any warning or notice from the establishment. Nothing mentioned on the website, no indication on the menu, nothing mentioned by our server….we were a party of TWO! That is unacceptable! For $225 (before tip) we were served cold, overcooked food that took hours to be served and was very unimpressive flavor wise.
We will never go back.
We shared a bunch of combo appetizers between our group and they were great. The bacon wrapped, curd filled tater tot was a nice surprise. I had the lobster bisque, with a steak & lobster combo, and a brownie dessert. Service was perfect. Everything you would expect from a fancy restaurant! I would certainly return.
This was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate—especially in a service setting. While everyone is entitled to their personal beliefs (something I firmly stand behind), employees should not be sharing divisive or discriminatory opinions with guests. Staff represent the restaurant, and this interaction reflected poorly on the establishment. That said, her comments were still shocking and inappropriate for someone working in hospitality in a country she is not from.
Additionally, we were told we could not order a specialty cocktail by the bartender because the ingredients were expired. This immediately led us to order only canned or bottled drinks, which raised concerns. Please ensure all food and beverage ingredients are properly stored, within temperature standards, and not past their expiration dates.
As a result, our party finished our cocktail and chose to leave rather than stay for dinner. We took our business elsewhere (Republic). I have thick skin, but I don’t support or spend money in places where this kind of behavior is tolerated.
It had been over a year since our last visit when my husband and I decided, on a whim, to go out for dinner. I was surprised to get a same-day reservation, especially for a Friday night. When we arrived, several tables were still open — which immediately struck me as odd. After tasting the food, I quickly understood why the place wasn’t busy.
There were no palate cleansers between courses, the soup was nothing like before, and the butter cake — once the highlight of every meal — was a major disappointment. I took only two bites before setting it aside because it was not worth the calories to finish it. I am extremely sad that I will never again experience the original butter cake.
My lobster tail was equally disappointing — all I could taste was salt. It was as if I were eating spoonfuls of raw table salt.
As for the steak, it was shockingly bad — easily one of the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted as though it had been boiled, briefly seared on a flat-top grill, then covered in sauce to disguise it. I’ve had better steaks at Ponderosa, which says it all.
After this experience, I checked other reviews, I’m clearly not alone in feeling this way, and this is the reason why they were not busy on a Friday evening. The owners need to listen to what their customers are saying, because if they don’t, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes within a year or two. There are too many other fabulous restaurants in the area that truly value their guests and serve food worth coming back for.
