We’re from NY and have done almost all Michelin star restaurants there and several others worldwide. This tasting menu is fantastic and probably worthy of a star.
Local ingredients, perfect pacing, and reasonable portions.
The only thing we could ding is an unflattering pairing, but they have a decent enough selection of half bottles and btg that you could make your own (which is what we did).
Shout out to Edmond for making our night super memorable and teaching us all about scallops!

We loved the “mixed” approach (distinct dishes for each of us) allowing us to try a variety of dishes beyond the six courses. We also had the wine pairing. The delicious food and warm hospitality by the entire team made for an awesome experience.

Everyone is so friendly, the courses (all 6!) are delicious and even a few extras (I don’t want to ruin the surprise element). ☺️ Worth the cost! Best meal of our 7-nights in Maui. We had an excellent time at Chef’s Table! The kitchen staff were all very nice, and it was great getting to chat with each chef individually. Highly recommend doing the wine pairing – it’s pricey but completely elevates the experience.

If I could rate my experience with the vegan chef’s table based on the food and staff, 5 stars does not do it enough justice. From the moment we were greeted by the hostess, to our server John and then all of the chefs we engaged with (i won’t remember everyones name, but Ian, edmon, chance…sorry to the others!) we were absolutely blown away. Apparently the vegan ask was dropped in front of them less than 24 hours before our arrival but that did not deter them from absolutely blowing us away with a fully catered and delicious dinner. I have eaten at a lot of high end restaurants and have had vegan tasting menus before and nothing compares to the night we had here. The team went above and beyond that we had booked a second night before we even left. Unfortunately our trip ended up needing to end earlier so we had to cancel night 2, but I am still dreaming of my meal. 100/10 would recommend for any dietary need but if you are vegan, THIS is the place to be and spend your money. Worth every penny and more.
