We had the tasting menu. The food was very good, standouts were the scallops and the mushroom soup. We thought for the price you could do better at Republic or Roast

We went to Chef’s Table for a birthday celebration and couldn’t have been happier with the chef’s attention to the food preparation with the wine pairing. Usually reserved for groups of at least 8 people, we were offered to have a 7 or 10 course meal of small plates, along with wine pairing. It was outstanding! An experience worth the money. Even without this special, the menu had very good selections as well. This is definitely a place for special occasions, should be tried at least once by those who appreciate fine dining.

The atmosphere was nice. Warm low lighting. Average $60 for a meal. The salmon is cool. The short ribs are phenomenal! Only rated 4 stars because both baskets of bread were hard and slightly cool. Bread could have been warmer and definitely softer. Also the waitress was not very knowledgeable of the menu.

The service was absolutely wonderful. Our meal from appetizer to soups to the meal were all to die for! I ordered the veal minon and my husband had the NY strip. Both cooked to perfection and definitely worth it! We ended with dessert and they were delicious, as well. Will definitely be recommending Chef’s Table to friends and family and hope to return again soon!

We have been excited for the opening of Chefs table & so happy it did not disappoint. The entire staff (valet, hostess, bartender and especially waiter) were all very attentive. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The presentation was lovely as well. We dined with another couple and all had four separate dishes (ny strip, short ribs, scallops and cauliflower). Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal! Dessert was my favorite part! We have been to a lot of very nice restaurants and the presentation and creativity of these desserts are the best I’ve seen.

We were a party of five celebrating a birthday. The waitstaff was very good. The appetizers were great. We then had Caesar salads and they were limp and flavorless. I ordered a rib eye and it had no flavor at all. I told the waiter about it they asked if I needed salt or a sauce. Should not need that for a $52 Ribeye. Same story for the filet and the lamb chops. We also asked to switch the vegetable that came with the dish and they wouldn’t do that they did bring an additional vegetable but charged us. For 5 people it cost us $650 for a sub par meal. Would not go back.

Fantastic food for the sake of fantastic food! So many other high end restaurants seem to focus on the environment or neighborhood or decor or things other than eating. Here the focus is on crafting food to enjoy! With a relaxing atmosphere and excellent service I enjoyed it immensely. Go downstairs and see the kitchen yourself!

Service was amazing! We went on a Friday night dinner, and there were only 3 other full tables. The cocktails were really good! The charcutary plate was good. For dinner I got a 45 day aged new York strip and my fiancé had the fillet. The steak didn’t have flavor and was drenched in sauce. The potatoes were bland! My fiancé had mashed patatoes which tasted like pure butter. Her fillet was better than my aged steak. I don’t think this place is worth the cost for the meats, maybe the seafood is better.

We went here after a particularly grueling week where 3 people in our lives had died in 6 days (2 cancer, 1 old age). Work wasn’t going well, and we were feeling very defeated. In a word, this place was an escape and was wonderful not only in the décor, but also the menu flavors and selections. Service was fantastic, as our waiter took time to answer all our questions as well as give recommendations on things he liked and why. We ordered an appetizer (blue shrimp), salad (caesar), main courses (Salmon + rack of lamb), and desserts (grand marnier candy bar, anise marshmellow, and peanut butter pyramid). We also ordered drinks (long island ice tea + manhattan) which were done to perfection as well. I noticed that they also had vegetarian dishes on the menu as well. If you are a foodie, want to try a new take on some classic dishes, are looking for vibrant flavors, or like to try new things, you will love this place. Reservations accepted, and currently they are only open for dinner after 5pm.
