The food was excellent and so was the professional courteous services. Prices were very reasonable. The entire restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambience!!! I had chicken Tikka with Roti and it was sizzling delicious. My friend had Chicken Marsala, the sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted, creamy and spicy and tab bit of zing to it.

This is the best thing ever happened with me. Every time I go to NY for any reason, I go to Jackson height for dine in. Most of them are Bengali owned restaurants. Every time the restaurants atmosphere disappoints me. They usually tiny and dirty. I feel like I m in a bazaar restaurant in Bangladesh. But yesterday I googled for best local restaurant there and found this. I went in, and realized it’s a completely different world. I was thinking why no one told me anything about this restaurant before. It’s nice, clean relaxing with good food and services . This is a restaurant you must try.

I’ve been here before and really liked the beef dum biryani, which is why I decided to come back. This time I ordered the beef tehari, and it was very disappointing. It was extremely oily, and the rice felt hard and not fresh. We asked them to replace it, but the second plate was also very oily, so we couldn’t finish it.
At first, they didn’t give any napkins or salad, but when we asked, they provided the salad, so that was fine. I understand mistakes can happen, but the food quality just wasn’t good this time. I do like the quiet atmosphere, but overall this visit wasn’t a good experience.

I came here with my cousins in this restaurant expecting pretty decent food. We had kacchi biriyani, dum biriyani and chicken tikka. I got so surprised when I actually tasted the food and it was extremely delicious all around. The management and the service was top notch. Will definitely come here again and suggest others to try this as well.

Service is good, food is terrible. Perhaps it would’ve been better to order fresh items on the menu. Not sure how long the food items on counter have been setting there, it felt like leftover from few days. Kalabhuna wasnt good, just gorur mangsho vaji. Roast, never had roast like this, in between creamy chicken and butter chicken.

Had a really lovely experience at this Bangladeshi spot in Jackson Heights. Parking is usually tricky in the area, but since we went during Eid week, we actually found a spot nearby—lucky timing!
We made a reservation easily through Google Assistant, which was super convenient. The singara and masala cha were absolute standouts—the singara was probably the most authentic I’ve had since my last visit to Kolkata, and the cha was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet (just how I like it!).
The biryani was flavorful, with tender chicken, though I found it just a tad bit under-salted.
The only real issue was that it felt a bit warm inside at first, but once we mentioned it, they kindly turned up the AC and it got more comfortable. Water wasn’t automatically served, which is something I’d suggest they consider, but honestly, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, I’m sure they’d have brought it right away if we’d asked.
Would come back if I’m in the area.
