If I could give this blessed family more than 5 stars, I would most definitely would. This woman Tammy is an awesome woman of God her husband the Chef is amazing in the kitchen and her staff have all kind non-judgmental hearts. I’m from the Chattanooga area and would take the 3 and a half hour drive just to visit here again. I recommend this wonderful place to anyone around. Thank you Tammy and family for an amazing dinner. From start to finish, I assure you will give them a good review. This was my first time eating here but definitely not my last. It is a small space packed with goodness. Augusta’s best kept secret. Great things are found in small packages and Chef’s House is one of them. The food is great and Chef George and his wife Tammy take great care in healthy food choices, atmosphere, hospitality, etc are above par. Truly a hidden gem. The building has lots of character and spice and very clean. The food is so delicious and healthy ( no pork in the veggies). Wow! Wow! Wow! The food was fantastic! Even with my dietary restrictions, I was able to get very full! How I was able to not overeat even was a miracle. The flavor profiles of the food, were so so good! Excellent flavor in every bite! Not one bite over seasoned or under seasoned. The food alone is why you need to come eat here…. BUT! That’s not all… the people are just as wonderful! I don’t think it’s possible to walk out of Chef’s House either hungry, or not knowing you are loved, and your life is on purpose! This is a very blessed location, you will enjoy it so much!
It’s buffet style, and all you can eat, there’s salad and dessert too! The star of my plate today was the salmon! Wow! Not sure I’ve ever had salmon cooked like that, I already want more for next time!

This was the BEST soul food restaurant I have ever been to. Hands down. This tastes like how the restaurants use to taste back in the day. The salmon? IMMACULATE. Fried pork chops? Nearly threw my fork down it was so good. But yall the cobbler?? I don’t even like cobbler and I cleaned that plate. The service was amazing and you can tell that everyone there genuinely cares about what they do. It’s buffet style so you can get as much as you want and the atmosphere is clean and comforting. 10/10

My husband and I found this little spot today while looking for something new to try! From the time we stepped out of the car we were greeted with smiles from customers. The food was great! I started with a salad with all my favorite toppings, fried chicken, Mac-n-cheese, greens, potatoes, and finished with cobbler and ice cream. The service was excellent, friendly, and well worth the try! Friendliest and welcoming service we have had in a while!
