Wow! What an amazing experience! We came for a birthday dinner was not disappointed!! The staff were so friendly and seemed to really enjoy what they do, our server even helps out with the food/drinks and had great pride in how things turned out! Chef Ryan was such a character, he came over and talked to us and we all had some good laughs. Not from this area (at ALL) but if we ever come back out here, Chef Ryan’s is definitely on the list. Scratch made food and WELL worth the price, was even under what I was expecting for the quality. The mignon was so flavorful, and my boyfriends chicken was so juicy!! 10/10 recommend!!!

I loved this place so much that I had to write a review-coming from someone who doesn’t bother to leave reviews. Food is wholesome and fresh. I was sick and having a nutritious meal made my day. Chef is energetic and likes to share his story on how he opened up the restaurant- through God’s guidance. I came from out of town and will be stopping by on the way back home- that’s how good it was. Try for yourself if you are in the area, you won’t regret it. Pics: tortilla soup, chicken Alfredo, house salad, rosemary strawberry ice cream, chef himself & watermelon fresh water.

First time here and love everything. The dining and decor are so cute and homey. Chef Ryan and his partner are so sweet and they were serving and cooking at the same time. the food is so delicious. I had the pulled pork sandwich, the crunch just how I like it and the flavors exploded in harmony. The aioli on the very crispy fries…phenomenal. This paired with the watermelon agua Fresca. Felt like summer and nostalgia. Don’t get me started on the cheesecake. Perfect bite size and comes in a mason jar. Sold. Definitely going back next time for his burgers

Let me tell you about this little gem we have here in Uvalde. My sister in Christ and myself came to lunch at Chef Ryan’s. We had the guacamole as an appetizer and it was so fresh and good, I highly recommend it. I then order a French dip and the meat was just so tender and juicy. The fries are so beautiful and tasty. If you come to Uvalde, take a chance on this place. You will not be disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly portioned, and the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. The music was a delightful addition, not overpowering, with smooth jazz playing in the background. Our waiter provided exceptional customer service, ensuring that we were well taken care of. First visit to Ryan’s place. I’ve watched him build and prepare for this on social media for some time.
He was hustling when I arrived cooking for a few tables . Waiter was excellent dressed black tie and was on his game
I was alone and prepared to chill for a while to try out his food, so I sat back and observed. Ryan delivered every plate himself out of the Kitchen and constantly checked the room for customer satisfaction. Chef Courtesy at a top shelf level, full explanations of the dishes in his customer exchanges. I place my order and shortly after he stopped by to talk to me about it. He helped me choose a glass of complimentary wine that he had on hand and it was delicious.
Ceasar Salad was just right nice dressing that didn’t over power the veggies. I then enjoyed a nifty little fresh cucumber crème cheese and tomato app. all the while the waiter and Chef stopped by with little samples of the dishes I didn’t order, which was as awesome tasting as marketing, nice! Then the filet the size of big fist, laid on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. Sprinkled with Pecan Smoked Peppercorns. Excellence on a plate! He just wouldn’t stop, he start describing deserts and I was trying to hide by now lol, then he whips out a he homemade ice cream in a mini mason jar. Great Food , Great Service. Small cozy atmosphere with Frank Sinatra on low. Cmon what do you want man ?

Did some internet searching and ended up here! SO glad I did. If you want the feel of eating high quality ingredients in a friendly cozy environment, this is THE place. Chef Ryan and his staff made me feel like a personal friend, super welcoming, with amazing food that’s cooked fresh. Hard to find these days. If you’re passing through Uvalde you gotta stop here.
