Reviews
Cabo Bob’s is a lot better than Chipotle and Freebirds. I ordered a steak burrito—good overall, though the steak was a bit tough. The fish tacos were very good, and the brisket tacos were wonderful.
Tips: The line can look long, but it moves fast. The brisket is a must-try, and the fish tacos are a solid choice.
Worth the wait, packed with flavor.
I’d definitely come back.
1. I needed to use the restroom from the long drive, I waited over 20 minutes, even asked the staff was there something wrong with the door because it wouldn’t open. The guy behind the line said someone’s in there then. I was thinking well that’s kinda weird because it only has a push door, so if someone was in there in an emergency situation EMS would have to bust the door down. I’m not sure how that passed the initial fire inspection .Turns out it was an employee and he walked out with his apron in his hands, put it back on and went into the kitchen area.
2. The dining room is absolutely filthy! Management clearly isn’t running this place. The walls in the entire dining room need a good cleaning, especially where trash cans are located. The beverage station was absolutely filthy! This wasn’t from a lunch rush, there’s gunk from the counter to the floor.
3. The manager, or as I assume was a manager had on wrinkled clothes his name tag was in his hat, looked very unprofessional. It kinda explained why the cook was scratching his head and chest while yawning.
4. Kitchen was very clean other than you could tell they had a busy lunch rush and there were chips and trash on the floor. If you looked at the equipment and walls they were very clean. Kitchen staff should spot sweep more often.
5. Food was unfortunately disappointing, very bland. We literally live across the street from Chipotle in Towne Lake and drove 23 miles to have poor food.
Overall I will go back to Willowbrook location but Katy I think I’ll pass.
Edit: Response to business owner: Completely understandable however it is the managers responsibility to notify the community, typically in these scenarios businesses will post notes on the door. Because alternatively, this is not what the public assumes occurred.
