I have personally ate here for the past year and the food is amazing. And I enjoy the overall atmosphere. It’s rare to see the owner come out and interact. But chef makes sure you know he’s there! And will always speak to his customers. I have photos to back up how consistent the food is too !! Best in Tampa

His food used to be better! He got busy I guess & brought on people to help him that’s when the Rasta pasta started tasting different, the last time the sauce was lukewarm making the texture different. He does have good wings but not my go to spot for that. Everything else tastes pretty basic nothing too crazy of a wow factor besides the OLD way the pasta was made. If it’s one of his helpers then that’s why but I won’t waste my time buying food that’s inconsistent.

So I love his food very delicious and satisfying.. the atmosphere is very busy and a high school is across the street .. his truck is on the corner and next to the gas station and it’s nice that he makes you feel welcomed and a great home made cooked meal .. the food the food is wow and the plates can be eaten for two days even shares a food truck who wulould have thought and it’s outside menu prices is not bad at all… lov the food

The food is a “no” for me. The chicken was bland. The macaroni & cheese and the cabbage lacked salt and pepper. The oxtails were extremely salty. Lastly, the Crabb Rangoon and the crab cake were just okay. On a good note, I enjoyed the music during my short wait and the staff were extremely friendly.

Let’s start off with the 10/10 customer service. We had great conversation on top of AMAZING food. We tried the mambo sauce wings and were skeptical about how they were going to taste because being from the DC/MD area, not all mambo sauces taste the same and since we were in Florida, we didn’t know what to expect. When I tell you that mambo sauce was AMAZING. We were pleasantly surprised. We also tried the jambalaya and the Rasta pasta with jerk chicken and shrimp (and they weren’t those baby shrimp.) The food was so good we came back the next day and got the oxtail Rasta pasta and added a side of broccoli to it…Chef’s kiss.
I would advise going early so that the items you want to order don’t sell out. You definitely get a large portion size of food and it was definitely worth it. If you’re in Tampa, I highly suggest you tap in!

Food was on POINT! Them wings was fried to perfection. I mean when you take a bite you just hear the crunch and flavors melt together. You get a good amount too so it can last the whole day or however you want. But baybeee I turn them things up. The fries was also crispy to perfection and salted perfectly. Oh and the pasta was finger licking good. Ima be back though.

My coworkers and I have spent hundreds of Dollar$ on their chicken over the last few weeks! We only ever order chicken and so I can’t speak to anything else. Not the best Chechen I have had but for how many pieces you get for the price and the flavor is good… you can’t get a bigger order of chicken at this quality for the price
