Most of us have heard ABG is closing. I’ve spent so many birthdays there every August and #64 was no exception. I was glad they took reservations for less than 5 people! I didn’t want to miss this. Jared our server was exceptional!. ABG servers can set the bar as
far as great service goes! It’s mostly in the training (I think) Food never disappoints .. Thank you ABG for 20 years of great times.. oh, and I bought the T shirt.

We had dinner here for the first time last night. Marrissa was our server and she was fantastic! I had the short ribs, my husband had the double cut pork chop. We shared the shrimp appetizer with whiskey cream which was delicious. I really hope Chef Mike finds another location.

Where to begin, my family and I have been coming here for years. Once we heard the news Chef mikes ABG is closing soon we decided to plan our next family gathering there. That was a mistake. Chef mikes ABG is clearly going down in quality, fast. For the 400$ bill( including tip) my family and I were left super disappointed. From the get go, we were told the draft beers are unavailable because they are too warm. No big deal we settled for bottles. The glass I was given for my water had a huge, hard not to notice finger sized hardened cheese residue on the side of it. No big deal we asked for a new one. Once we received our bread, there was a nice piece of complementary lettuce encrusted on my butter knife. We asked for a new one no big deal. Once we finally received our entrees (which were given to us completely unorganized timing leaving some of us with food and others without) my sisters tuna was half way cooked after she asked for fully cooked, and one of my brother in laws clams was completely sealed still after after being served which is a sign of not being fully cooked. Besides that the table was very sticky, and the couple next to us walked in with a literal dog and dog bed(not that I really care but for a place that used to have such high standards I was insanely surprised)

Overall my family and I were extremely disappointed with service, and quality compared to recent visits.

Took my husband for our first visit to Chef Mike’s on his birthday & it was delicious! It’s a Sunday in March so it wasn’t busy & we got seated right away. The only down side was on the way there the hostess called 2x in a row & we were only 5 mins late. By doing so she ruined the surprise where I was taking my husband, so it was a little disappointing. They should at least wait 10-15 mins, especially bc you give them your credit card to book a reservation & if you don’t show they charge a $30 fee.
The atmosphere was nice but not what I expected for a fine dining experience. It’s on the beach & their menu was stocked with great selections so that helped. However I do think they can use a little upgrade or even some better looking tables or table decor. Very plain.
After sitting down we were greeted by our server, Mario. He was pleasant & welcoming & explained all the specials for the night. Our drinks & food came out on time & were presented beautifully. The oysters & shrimp were super fresh! & Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Mario also explained how the summer months will look if we want to visit again. Reservations are a must! We will definitely be back.

First time here and hopefully not the last before they close. Had to go during the week because they are booked up every time I check. The food was excellent and came out very quickly. We had the burrata app special, mahi and lobster special, and chicken milanese.

Great Restaurant tucked away with amazing food. Can’t believe that it took us so long to check this place out. We’ve heard many great things about it and we finally decided to give it a shot. Had reservations for 8 of us; great craft cocktails, amazing service and food was on point! Short rib was absolutely delicious and the filet with the lobster tail was amazing. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a great dinner at Chef Mike’s ABG, the seafood was fresh and well prepared. Garlic Shrimp app had amazing flavor and was perfectly seasoned. The slow braised short ribs on a potato mash was exceptional, meat fell of the bone and great flavor.

Great spot. Despite the server who was lovely, however, she didn’t give me the vibe that she knew or was prepared to serve the group I brought with me (15 of us). I also didn’t like that we were told on the phone that each person would have their own bill. To be later told later that we were held to 4 credit card swipes per table. The misinformation caused a bit of stress to my party, but it’s rare to have parties that large so manage your expectations. I’m confident if you were going with a date, or by yourself you’d have a better experience. Amazing food. Very filling. If you buy an app… finish it before you decide if you want an entre. I DEFINITELY took most of my entre home. The spot is worth a visit. Especially since the beach is right there. Also, I can’t help but love how well the drinks and food were. My only real complaint was that the butter for the rolls could have been softened. ‍♂️

The young hostesses were excellent and very pleasant. We had the hot appetizer sampler which was good, but no wow factor. Dinner was also good (and the food was definitely fresh) but not worth the price point. The risotto was lukewarm at best and although the filet mignon was perfectly cooked, it was under seasoned, as were the vegetables. The lobster tail was undercooked and the accommodating staff brought us a new one. The pasta dish was excellent and the scallops were also perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Our waitress was lovely but the prices did not match the food.

Went with a big party on a weekday night. Place was crowded but service was fast. Ordered drinks, apps, and entrees. Apps were solid and the seafood entrees were delicious. Several members of the party ordered steaks and many were dissatisfied. Temps were off and seasoning was bland. For the price we hoped for a bit more. Overall still a good meal and would return. Will say that if you have young kids or picky eaters, might not be a great choice. Overall a nice night, but hoped to be blown away for the prices of items.
