I was in town from Chicago for a business meeting and was told by the locals this was where I should go, they were not wrong. I ordered the Reuben sandwich which had very good quality beef and the kraut didn’t overpower the taste of the rye. I also had the shredded rib sliders with BBQ sauce that the chef had stirred up that day, it was phenomenal. I got to talk to Chef AJ and learned that he is also a Chicago native, who used to be a personal Chef for the Chicago White Sox, and owned and operated “Chef AJs” in Chicago’s Bridgeport area. Much appreciation to Chef AJ and his friendly, happy-go-lucky staff. The place is clean and has nice natural lighting. And the food is delicious.

Deliciously juicy burger, pastrami reuben, and fries at Chef AJ’s. Friendly owner, great service. Take out or limited seating at window bar. We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend Chef AJ’s!!

I had the Chef’s Salad with fresh mozzarella, veggies, homemade dressing and croutons which were all delicious. I had to try the garlic butter fries and I wasn’t disappointed! It is a large order so make sure you have people to share with. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is a gem! We ordered the BBQ Bacon Chicken Sandwich and the Bow Tie Chicken Pasta! As you can see by the photo large portions and everything was fresh off the grill! Service was fast and friendly will be back.

10/10 recommend! I had the bow tie pasta and my husband had a burger and it was absolutely delicious! We live about 45 minutes out and will definitely make the drive to go back and eat!

The best patty melt I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Perfectly cooked and delicious housemade dressing. There’s not much seating here, as most orders are carry out. The staff is very nice and cares about every detail.

The Reuben was 11/10. Toasted to perfection and the cook was thoughtful enough to put thousand island on the sandwich and include a small side in case I wanted more. All of this without asking.

Had the Reuben – which uses the wagyu beef brisket. The meat was ok – a touch greasy. The homemade thousand island was the best part. Loved the bread.

Perfect little hidden gem in Brighton MI with the renowned chef AJ. It was like watching a performance with both chefs calling out orders and working in tandem with the art of culinary.

Just had my first burger from here. What a great experience. It was simple to order, quick (for fresh food) and really tasty. The special came with fries, and the meat was… meaty! Great flavor, so whatever mix they use- it works!
