The food was absolutely a 10/10. It’s rare to find an Italian restaurant that doesn’t overload dishes with unnecessary ingredients or salt. Everything was well-balanced and fresh.
Our server, Aba, was amazing and so attentive as well. It truly felt like a fine-dining experience, we’ll definitely be back!!

Came to this restaurant for the first time for a wine tasting. Beautiful restaurant with a great ambience and location. The service was wonderful. Everyone was professional and friendly. Food was delicious! The only thing I have to say is that personally the fish was needing some potatoes. But I loved this place and can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

10/10. The way fine Italian dining is supposed to be. Greeted by the wonderful Ruthie (I believe?) who handled various accomodations of ours with a smile. (We wanted their indoor chairs for our outdoor table as we had a guest with a bad back). No problem at all. She and our server Francesco took care of it quickly. Francesco made us feel like we were in Italy. Phenomenal descriptions of dishes, and truly a masterclass in service. Perfect balance of attentiveness, deep knowledge of the menu and a degree of professionalism lost on most of North America’s service industry today. No surprise he’s from Italy. General Manager popped by twice to check on us which is always a nice touch. Oh yeah, important detail – food was phenomenal. Particularly the Calamari and Branzino were beyond fantastic — best Branzino I’ve had in my life.

This restaurant truly displayed a deluxe dining experience. Service was exceptional. Very attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. The Branzino was a 10/10. Our waiter, Fraccesco, made the meal. Every recommendation was spot on, food was timely and bussing of the table was prompt. Highly recommend!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent service. Unfortunately, the food was lacking in a variety of ways. I’ll start by saying that by no means was it bad. I measure its value based on the price point. This is an expensive restaurant and in line with most of the other restaurants I’ve reviewed. Therefore, I feel I’m a fair judge. The octopus was beautifully presented but lacked flavor and, in fact, was almost tasteless. My entre, frutti di mare was at the other end of the spectrum it had too much going on with no clear direction as to what the chef was trying to create. The black pasta was overcooked. The proteins were nicely cooked, but I had to fight the lobster to get it out of its shell. Plus, offering lobster was a waste. The sauce was so powerful that it wiped out being able to actually taste the sweetness of the lobster meat. In addition, the sauce lacked the heat (spiciness) that I was expecting, but rather unusually sweet. I’ve had both these dishes at a variety of restaurants, so I know what they should be like. I doubt I’ll eat here again.

This is the best restaurant in Aventura. Spectacular service, just like their Fort Lauderdale location. I will be coming back. I was also pleased to see their amazing wine list!

We dined at Casa D’Angelo Aventura on Valentine’s Day and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations we associate with the Casa D’Angelo name.
While the evening was busy, the service fell short. Our waiter appeared unprepared and made comments about menu items that the restaurant did not actually have. It’s possible he was joking, but late in the evening, especially on a special occasion, this came across as either unpreparedness or misplaced humor. Questions about the menu were not answered clearly, and we did not receive any meaningful recommendations.

Additionally, the overall atmosphere lacked warmth. The bar staff was not particularly welcoming, and there was little sense of hospitality throughout the restaurant, which made the experience feel impersonal.

This was not the Casa D’Angelo experience we were expecting or have come to know. For comparison, the Fort Lauderdale location consistently delivers a far superior level of service and professionalism.

Disappointing overall, especially for a Valentine’s Day dinner.

My parents have always raved about this restaurant, so we went for my brothers birthday as a family and the service was great but for what you’re paying, I was not impressed and the food was just okay. We got a LOT of items on the menu so let me break it down:

Cesar salad – tasted very bland, and was a bunch of lettuce for like $20. Needed more parm and dressing. We also got another salad with dried fruit in it which was definitely better…
Fried Calamari – def tasty and it has fried zucchini – prob one of the best dishes but it’s fried calamari – hard to go wrong here.
Beef carpaccio – was okay but nothing special, and very small portion (5 tiny slices).
Octopus- would not recommend. No flavoring or seasoning. Kind of bland.
Lamp chops – tasted good but nothing special. No char or seasoning, maybe some salt. I can make them better at home…
Pasta – we got the gnocchi, also okay &
The best dish was the basic penne vodka (which I would never typically say).

The best part of the meal was the dessert and it was like a special tiramisu shaped like two scoop of ice cream. So so good!!

Overall for what it’s worth and what you’re going to pay for this meal, I was not impressed.

We decided to take a friend for lunch here. It was a good decision. It’s a beautiful restaurant they have a business lunch, which is very reasonable. It included a salad. Summer salad was good Bronzino very good and dessert. We also had calamari and a Caesar salad. Everybody enjoyed their meal they gave a complementary dessert to our friend. The waiter was very nice and accommodating.
