Absolutely lovely. We had great service and the atmosphere was welcoming and easy going. Not rushed at all. There was a really good selection for food. Loved the maple roasted Brussels sprouts! Highly recommend. Definitely going back!

Just went to Cheever Tavern for the first time and let me say, I will be back again. The food, service, and environment were all top notch. We ordered the Pullitzer burger & Steak Sandwich. It tasted so fresh and wasn’t greasy at all. The French fries that came with the hand helds were very unique and tasty as well. The butter cake for dessert was amazing! So soft and gooey, one of my favorite desserts I’ve had out in a long time. Definitely add this to your list!

A warm welcome as you enter. We were seated straight away and the menu looked very good. We started with street corn and chips. It was delicious. We followed with Lobster roll for my wife and I had the seafood Bucatini and it was outstanding.
For desert we had Blueberry and lemon cake.
Our server Rita was an absolute delight extremely friendly.
I would say you need to sort out your WiFi , you have a great system to pay via a QR code but it won’t work because of you WiFi.

Service was decent and atmosphere is good. Personally, I feel food is mediocre for the price.
Chicken Alfredo-chicken was dry and inclusion of tomatoes didn’t really jive well. Brussels sprouts -overcooked. Have had a great brunch there in the past.

My service industry, friends and I had a nice afternoon lunch/brunch on Sunday. I have been meaning to try this place for many years as I’ve had friends that have worked here in the past. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and I can’t stop thinking about that buffalo chicken dip. The vibes were chill in the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. It was overall a really fun time.

We always have an all around great dinner experience at Cheever Tavern. The seafood is crazy fresh. The outdoor patio is a nice take in warmer weather. The Tavern is a popular spot, so make your reservation (they’re on Resy but if Resy doesn’t show an open table, phone them).

Cheever Tavern is exceptional. Perfect place to bring a date, close friends or family members. The food is always good, the menu changes frequently I do not like brussels sprouts, but I love them here. (Not to be missed!) I love the Bolognese, the steak tips, the Caesar salad, the desserts are exceptional. I can’t say enough. Michael, the owner runs a top-notch business that is expanding. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area with fire pits. The manager, V runs a tight ship and is incredibly welcoming and the staff adores her. (So do I) I highly recommend booking a reservation.

Came to this Pulitzer themed tavern for Ryan’s 33rd birthday and what a fantastic choice it was!
I highly recommend “Daddy’s lobster roll” but you can’t go wrong with any of the sandwich’s.
Sydney and Olivia were the best servers that I’ve encountered in years. They gave helpful recommendations, prompt/friendly service, and put up with our nonsense! Thanks so much for a great Lunch, ladies!
